The food was very good. They make a very nice Sangria as well. Only down side is their opening hours felt a little short (they were closed before 8pm) although that may have been because of the time of year we were there.

We were a bit disappointed by the Budda Cafe. The Lonely Planet guide highly recommends it. However, it is very, very touristy and inauthentic. The food was also even less than average and for that it was a lot (!) to expensive. We got better and cheaper food at other restaurants in Tortoguero.

We had a wonderful meal and drinks on the deck over the water. The staff was very friendly. The view was marvelous. Relaxing afternoon.

We enjoyed the crepes and the view over looking the water. The restaurant is centrally located with a nice menu.

It was exactly as described on TA! I had the crepes and they were delicious. We would have returned for an evening meal but the rain was too heavy to get across from our accommodation...another time!

Great decor, peaceful surrounding and great if pricey food. Upscale yet not pretentious. They are some sections with comfortable cushions on the side.

Loved the Budda salad and the frozen drinks. Nice to have healthy alternatives to the usual Costa Rican fare.

Who would have thought you could get a fantastic pizzza in a village that doesnt even have roads. Well you can and sit by the river watching the world go by

This is an excellent cafe. The service was exemplary and the staff really friendly. The location provides a beautiful view over the canal. The food was wonderful, with plenty of vegetarian choices too and the cocktails were gorgeous. Probably not the cheapest place in town, but not ridiculously overpriced either. Definitely worth a visit.

We have been to Tortuguero several times and this is one of staple, go-to restaurants! We love sitting in the gorgeous garden, waterside area, enjoying the fabulous ambience and delicious cocktails. The food is fresh and tasty. We especially love the fruit crepes! We will continue to be back every time we visit.
