The not really cooked puffy pita was about 400 grams of bleached white flour. Inside, you get 3 or 4 balls of fried garbanzo that tastes less authentic than the many falafel I had throughout the middle east. Topped by sour cabbage. It's huge, so you may never get to it, but to save on filling your pita with vegetables,... More

Great, tasty, fresh food cooked with care. Excellent service, a great place! Lamb was mouthwatering and tender, excellently seasoned. The fresh baked bread was fresh and delicate. My partner's vegetarian dish of falafel was flavoursome and appealing. The dishes were all of the highest quality - this really is home-styled Israeli cooking of a fine quality, and we couldn't have... More

We stumbled across pita bonita after snorkeling and wanted a late lunch. After looking at the menu we ordered the table for two with lamb kebab and shawarma. It was a full on feast and every dish tasted lovely. A little bonus when they thought we had ordered falafel when we hadn't and gave it to us free anyway, and... More

This is the best restaurant we visited during our stay in Punta Uva in January. All of the dishes we tried were top notch, especially the hummus. The owners are the cutest little family and they are so friendly. We can´t wait to go back next year!

Great Pitas and friendly owners! The spicy chicken pitas are the best and apetizer humus and falafel with the home made spicy sauce are so tasty! Visit this place if you have a chance or take out and eat at one of the beautiful beaches!

We enjoyed lunch here numerous times on our trip to Puerto Viejo. This was definitely our favorite lunch spot! The mint lemonade is fantastic and the pita bread is the best I have ever tasted. The falafel was the true star of the show for me! We've been home from PV for a week now and already miss this place!

Catching up on an over due review of this this little jungle gem. I popped in for lunch while visiting the area late February. I'm not the most open minded with new cuisine but found the restaurant and staff great. I had the chicken schwarama - absolutely delicious. The cucumber tomato salad accompaniment was awesome as were the hand cut... More

We enjoyed lunch here and the location is beautiful. My boyfriend and I split a meal which was more than enough. This was hands down one of our favorite meals in Puerto Viejo and we were there for 1 week. It's nice to have a bit of variety other than rice/beans/meat =)

We had read lots of reviews about this restaurant on TA and one day when cycling past we thought we would get some food to take home.We got Hummus, olives, a shredded chicken dish and of course their wonderful pita bread. It was all very tasty. They sell their pita in the local supermarkets, we bought it instead of ordinary bread... More
