Some friends told us about this place, and it was by far one of the best restaurants we ve visited in Costa Rica in 2 month! We ve stopped multiples times during our stay in the area. For lunch, in the afternoon or for dinner, each visit was a delight!! The service is friendly, the restaurant is clean, so if... More

Honestly, the title says it all, this was my favorite place to eat in all of Puerto Viejo. Great variety of crepes, very rich in flavor and expertly presented. The owners who prepare the crepes are from the town in France where the crepe was originally invented, so you can be sure that you are getting the real deal. Frozen... More

I got to-go food here with a few friends to take with us on our bus ride back to San Jose. We ordered some of the savory crepes and they were wonderful!! We told the owner we were in a time crunch and had to catch the bus and he was able to make all three of our crepes within... More

Friendly place, close to the main street in PV where you can sit down, cool off and sip made to order fruit drinks...including some unusual combinations. Loved it.

This is such a nice, clean place with quiet atmosphere on a side street just off the busy main street of Puerto Viejo. Personal service, hot tasty crepes. Really good value. Try the chocolate fondue. The spinach crepe is also very good. This was our second time there in a two year period and the experience was just as good... More

We have been stopping by Sel et Sucre for the last 4 years, during our regular trips in the area. The place is very well run, with a clear pride of ownership. Excellent atmosphere, great specialty coffees, natural juices and delicious sweet or savory crepe creations, greatly enhanced by the local abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables. We had a... More

A welcome break for typical Caribbean food (good as that is!), these crepes are prepared to order, always fresh, always tasty.

Savoury and sweet crepe choices that included chocolate with local pineapple or goat cheese with spinach among many others. The lemonade with mint was almost worth stopping in by itself. Would definitely return.

My husband and I wandered into this restaurant after trying once before only to find a closed for the holiday sign on the door. There were no other guests here at the time, so we had the whole place to ourselves. My husband tried the banana split while I had The Cariebe (I think) and both were amazing! We'll definitely... The crepe master chef has a skill I have only seen in France once ! His ability to fuze the crepe with the Caribbean flavor is bliss to the palate.
