Time to kill

Coffee was great and baked goods tasted great. Cool place to just hang when you not in a hurry, Pura vida.

We always come back to Bread and Chocolate Restaurant in Puerto Viejo for a great breakfast. It is a small and cozy open air restaurant in the center of Puerto Viejo. It is a pleasant place to eat breakfast in the morning, watch the people and activity outside on the street. There is a roof overhead to keep dry and... More

The jerk potatoes were good. I had fruit bagel & eggs. They forgot my ham, but I felt bad asking because of my poor spanish & they were busy. Give the place a try, but everyone else loves the place! The brownie was amazing!

This is my favorite place to visit when we go to Puerto Viejo. The vibe is extremely chill, the food is great and the chocolate is the best.

Great vibes, great people and service, and great food. This was my first breakfast in Puerto Viejo and if not for wanting to try other places, I would have eaten here every day. Didn't get to try their lunch but breakfast menu was awesome. My friend got coconut pancakes that were divine.

My boyfriend and I visited about a year ago and we still talk about how delicious everything was! We recommended a couple of friends to head here a few days ago and they agree! The breakfasts are amazing! Fresh bagels and homemade cream cheese! Yum! And they always have a nice portion of fresh fruit. This place is truly a... More

I had breakfast there twice and an iced cafe mocha. The cafe mocha wasn't all that but the food was good.
