Came here for breakfast after several recommendations from many different travelers along my trip saving that it was a much do in PV. The staff wasn't particularly friendly or willing to give food recommendations. Actually the server I had made it seem like she didn't really care for anything on the menu. I went with the eggs, potatoes and homemade... More

They serve delicious French press coffee, and their hash browns are delicious. Also very attentive service.

Affordable and delicious. The cookies looked amazing, but resisted them. Iced coffee was good, & bacon turkey sandwich was great.

We went to Bread and Chocolate every day for breakfast and it was great. The sandwiches and yoghurt with fruit and granola are very good. Try also their chocolate sauce. We found the first real freshly squeezed orange juice in central america at B and C!

Great diversity of dishes, all are fresh and sourced locally! Whole grain pancakes, whole wheat French toast! Healthy and very tasty!

We stayed a total of 3 nights in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca and went to Bread and Chocolate every day. Their breakfast is absolutely amazing, tasty and filling. They also have very good coffee, chocolate and cakes! This place is a must for everyone passing by in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca!!

Great place to have a nice breakfast/lunch. One of the only places in town that opens early, which is a bonus! The brownies and homemade bread and bagels were excellent. The ginger lemonade is extremely refreshing and highly recommended. Quality is this restaurant's forte. Whether its pancakes with homemade chocolate sauce, or the creamy scrambles eggs, everything is a hit!
