Best Pancakes in Cahuita

This place is so great, a little slow to open but when it does best pancakes ever. The coffee was also amazing, real dark roast Costa Rican coffee. The service like most of the service in cahuita was aslo great. Great place for breakfast!

Good service but a bit expensive for what you get. The place is nicely situated in a very calm area. The coffea was not good and we had to have an early lunch.

We loved the laid back, open air location just a short 400 yards from our Guesthouse. We enjoyed a good breakfast at Mayela's with good coffee, fresh fruit juice and hot breakfast.

Mayela's tea room is a real treat for an early afternoon tea and cake. Generous servings which is always appreciated by someone with quite a sweet tooth. My children were thrilled with their plates of ice-cream topped with gummy bears, which were big enough for me to share too! There aren't many places in Costa Rica where you can get... More

Mayella's is a very nice spot to stop for breakfast, just a short walk from town up the street from "Pepe's beach. There are plenty of choices with "American" and "Canadian" breakfast depending on what kind of bacon you want but the pancake is really something special, Mayella puts the "cake" in pancake. The pancake takes up the wholes plate,... More

Best breakfast in the Cahuita area, hands down. You must try the mocha coffee. I already am missing the flavor. The pancakes and french toast were really good as well.

We got good pancakes & crepes with fruit served happily by the owner. Not directly in the center of the village but worth the walk. They had some cakes in the fridge too.

A lovely outdoor restaurant a short walk from downtown. The food is very good, especially breakfast. Quiet neighborhood, lovely furnishings, friendly staff. Well worth the walk from town plus it's very close to the black beach..take a swim afterwards!
