I love this place. I go several times per month. They have fabulous pizza with sides of terrific flavored oils. I also like the attempts to appear Roman. Lots of great old photographs. They will be happy to talk with you in English or in Spanish (perhaps others). A great place for pizza and beer. I've also had various pasta... More

It is nice for having a pizza that is not either home made or Pizza hut. Try the pasta as well, it is great, the prepare it right there.

We ate a regular pizza, 2 glasses of wine and a Cheese Cake. Price is high if you compare with others similar restaurants. It's not an spectacular pizza. Service is good, the restaurant was full but we get our order fast.

I went on a casual date with my husband and although the place was pretty full the waiter really tried to give us enough attention. The food was delicious and the portions plentiful.

I stoped with 4 work partners and we loved the pizza. Specially the Rio de Janeiro one. I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

I stopped here with my Tico friends last night. Great selection of pizzas. We ordered a gigante Oslo (#99) that had all the meats for $26. We added gorgonzola cheese to it, which was a mistake. The gorgonzola was added in clumps, not spread out and was an additional $7 on a gigante pizza. It did fill me, my date... More

I was on mission for great pizza during my 3 month stay in Heredia. This is the best Authentic Woodfired Italian thin crust pizza in Heredia. Pan y Vino wasn't that great and neither was the other pizza place in Paseo de Los Flores Mall. After trying those other places I have stuck with Antica Roma ever since. Try a... More

This rather unassuming little gem caught me by total surprise. I ordered the arrabiatta sauce and it was amazing. It had clearly been made that day from fresh tomatoes. The pasta was perfectly al dente. Some other members of our party ordered pizzas and they were equally delicious. The crust was clearly made by hand and cooked in a woodfire... More

This is one of the places we visit at least once a month. Food is always good, with lots of options between pasta and pizza. We've.always got everything well prepared and with fresh ingredients. The wood oven is a nice plus, too! A nice topic is that you can arrive relatively late (after 9 pm) and they will be open.... More
