Cafe Tico is Great for Local Coffee

We bought our coffee beans at Cafe Tico and really liked the place and the selection. They were knowledgeable about the best coffees and local beans.

Great coffee and light breakfast fare. Wonderful staff and very social & neighborly patrons. After just two days of going there the staff knew our order and recognized us. Huge place for ex-pat locals.

I have been here before, but it was just for a cappuccino. The cappuccino is still the best in town and the breakfast I had was great as well. The menu was small, but enough options for a great breakfast and they will do what they can to make you exactly what you want. With the outdoor seating of only... More

This is a follow up review from one back in 2013. When I heard this place was sold, my heart broke. Often places change ownership and what was once exceptional turns to, well, not so exceptional. I am glad to report this certainly was not the case here. Cafe Tico remains the undisputed champion in my book. Excellent Coffee, service... More

Not always a big iced coffee fan, but their iced latte was fantastic. Would love to hold my book club here!

I could drink the blended concoction every day. Cleaner tasting than Starbucks etc., nothing artificial. They were out of cinnamon rolls somewhat early in the morning so not sure when they make them, disappointing.

We loved this little coffee shop! We bought some coffee to bring home. The iced latte is very good and refreshing in the hot climate!

As others have stated, this is a great place for breakfast. The coffee is wonderful as are the yogurt parfaits and cinnamon rolls. We liked it so much, we tried to go back a second time-- which leads to my only complaint-- there are only about 6 tables, so unless you arrive early, you will probably be waiting. The second... My wife and I stopped in one morning for iced coffee. The staff was really friendly and spoke English really well. Our iced coffees were prepared quickly and they were very good. A perfect drink choice for a walk on the beach in the morning.
