My wife and I started of most mornings in Costa Rica here. The locals told us this is where to go for coffee and a quick breakfast. The prices were fair, the service was great, and the coffee was the best we found in Costa Rica.

Fantastic little place tucked away off the main road. Great breakfast sandwiches with homemade bread rolls. Amazing iced coffee. Most wonderful owner. Best part of my vacation mornings!

This place was busy when we stopped, but there was lots to look at. They sell all of my favourite things; purses and coffee and chocolate. The line moved quickly and the service was exceptional. I had a cappuccino and breakfast sandwich. The perfect way to start the day. I will miss this place when I leave tomorrow.

The staff is super nice and the coffee was even better than the coffee shop I work at at home. The cafe is super small and adorable. They sell little jars of jelly and things...I recommend you buy some of the homemade almond butter. But you must try they're iced latte. Get it blended (:

This place has some really great options for breakfast or coffee. The cafe frios are amazing and the breakfast burritos are huge and delicious. All food comes with your choice of local hot sauces as well. Great prices, great food, very friendly owner!

I visited Cafe Tico everyday that I was in Tamarindo! The coffee and baked goods were amazing (thanks for the vegan squares!). Everyone was so friendly, even though I was only in Tamarindo for a week, I was made to feel like I was a regular. I highly recommend.
