this is a small cafe , frecuented by local expats, we like their teas cofees and pastries. The people who run it, are always very nice. a nice spot for a nice cup.

My wife and I LOVED Cafe Tico!!! We had seen it on trip advisor before heading to Tamarindo and it was our first stop for our first breakfast... and we ended up going there all nine days... the breakfast burrito, tico breakfast, and breakfast croissant were all fantastic!!! Even on days when we branched out and had breakfast somewhere else,... More

This place was great! We found it on Trip Advisor and decided to check it out. The food was fresh and very good. The coffee was excellent as was the service. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

This is by far one of the best coffee shops that I've been to in Costa Rica. Not only do they use good, local, coffee and make excellent coffee drinks, but all of the food was made from scratch and really good. I was a regular here every morning the few days I was in Tamarindo. It's a lovely place... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants. If you aren't careful, you could miss the hidden gem because it is a smaller institution and not located next to a resort. Please don't make that mistake. This place has the best coffee in town. If you aren't interested in coffee, they have mind-blowingly fresh food! They have the BEST veggie sandwich... More

We are staying at the Diria and have been eating the breakfast there, but wanted to try a local spot. The breakfast here was outstanding and I was especially impressed with the gluten-free option in the bakery. The fruit bowl was so fresh and my family all had breakfast sandwiches. I am very fond of good coffee and I was... More

I stopped by with a friend to grab a coffee to go on the way to the beach. I decided to get a cappuccino instead of just coffee. It was the best cappuccino I have had in Tamarindo.

We ate here twice and it was great both times. The cafe is tucked away on a side street but clean with great coffee and food. The baked goods are to die for. The cafe tico breakfast with eggs was our go to and it was great both times. Ask for the spicy sweet sauce that comes in a small... More
