Service was really good, food was fresh and tasty. Super view. Beach vendors were a bit unbridled but all in all...I'll be back :)

We had a nice dinner on the beach, while enjoying a lovely dinner. The fresh caught fish was excellent. Service was also very good.

Good juicy grilled tuna! This restaurant offers a good seat with a beautiful view. It's not a cheap place, but it's worth it.

My husband and i can here almose every afternoon for the mixed ceviche--hands down some of the best i have ever had in my life--and we come from northwest Washington state and have some of the best seafood in the world at our fingertips. We loved it so much that we brought the rest of the crew traveling with us... More

La Palapa will draw you in with their all day happy hour, which is a great value if you get the beer. We tried a couple of drinks that were very weak. Don't order water unless you want to pay $3 for it - they didn't mention this upfront. The view was great. We ordered the guac which was average... More

This place is right on the ocean-your feet dig into the sand while eating a delicious lunch or dinner! All seating is outside under a canopy roof. Food was excellent-we had a whole red snapper with its head on that was crispy and delicious-enough for two. We shared all our meals while in Tamarindo-cheaper and plenty wherever we went! They... We had lunch there during the week so it was not crowded. The fried snapper was excellent and the lobster very good. The beers were not very cold and we had a bit of a fly problem. Lunch for 2 came to 89 dollars so it is not inexpensive. Lu

This place has a decent happy hour deal and the wait staff is great. We sat by the beach sipping margaritas and called for the check. They tried to sneak some stuff on there and when I called them on it, they said the waitress made a mistake. The manager said it was up to me if I wanted to... More

great spot on the beach to walk up to and have a nice lunch and drink! Their ceviche is tasty and tacos delicious. Relaxed environment sitting in Adirondack chairs with feet in sand looking out over tamarindo bay. Recommend their tacos, and yummy drinks.
