La Palapa is a lovely restaurant to stop at for drinks and a snack, or more, on the beach. Service is very good; drinks are very good; food is fine, and location is great.
Seriously I wish I found this place sooner! Nicholas the manager was great to us, told us about the specials, sauces etc.
We have eaten at a lot of places in Tamarindo and this is by far the best place to eat! I had the mahi with a scampi sauce and my husband the fillet. Our friends had the seafood...

Stick with the better menu items and you will have a better meal.
The Mojito I enjoyed with my meal was also very good -...
