HAPPY HOUR!

2 for 1 drinks all day. This place was great if you are looking to kill an afternoon drinking. They have a nice shaded area with good views of the beach. We spent two of our nights here to enjoy our toes in the sand, some frosty beverages all while watching the sunset. Great drink choices with outstanding 2 for 1 happy hour prices. Service was good and we always felt very welcome. Amazing spot to catch the sunset.

Can be expensive but lunch is a good deal and you can sit right on the beach savoring ceviche. Nice variety, good service and you can't beat the view.

Hands down my favorite fine dining spot in Tamarindo. I love that the tables are on the sand on the beach. The atmosphere is soothing and relaxed. The drinks are concocted with flair, the food is scrumptious and the view can't be beat. By American standards, the service is slow. But then again, don't go to a foreign country and... More

The cost of making coffee is ridiculously low, so is the generosity of La Palapa when you order coffee. I think that the Costa RIcans don't understand that visitors to their country come from places like the US, Canada where an expensive cup of plain brewed coffee offered in a restaurant is refilled gratis. How completely ungracious to charge $3... More

This was a great stop for a cold beer/cocktail on the beach at Tamarindo. It was exactly what we were looking to do that afternoon! We had a nice table for 2 on the sand in the shade and Robert was a fun and friendly waiter. We enjoyed 2 for 1 beers during Happy Hour and gratuity is included in... More

We had a lovely family dinner here while staying in Tamarindo and the dining entertainment (fire dancers) were a great touch to the dining experience. A few of us had the fish and chips which were excellent, highly recommend! We were all very impressed with the service here as well. Our server was friendly, humorous and prompt. This restaurant had... More

I'll start by saying that the food here was the best we've had in Tamarindo ...unbelievably good seafood! (Don't be put off by the odd lobby area as you enter from the street.) What could be better than eating a fabulous meal with your chair sinking in the sand, waves crashing nearby, fireworks and Chinese lanterns filling the starry sky?... More
