the pasta was ok. the steak was unflavorful, undercooked and just down right not very good. we asked for a hot, caliente spicy bloody mary and it came out warm to temperature. EWWWWWWW. save your money, walk down the dirt road to Pescador

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our last night. We could not decide on where to eat. Everyone wanted something different! This was definitely the place to go. They have a wide variety of wonderful foods to meet every ones needs. The pizza lovers of the group agreed it was the best pizza they have ever had. The fajitas were... More

We stumbled upon this wonderful place on our last night in Costa Rica. There wasn't anyone else dining but they welcomed our party of three with open arms and provided a an amazing dining experience. Everything was fresh, delicious and prepared with great care. Go here - you won't be sorry.

While off the main drag, this restaurant is not to be missed. The owner and chef, Simon Cecearelli, is an artist. The food was fantastic, the service was over the top. When my daughter swatted at a bug on her leg, and before she had the chance to explain what it was that made her jump, the staff was at... More

After reading the reviews and also getting a recommendation from someone we were on a tour with, I was really disappointed with Las Brasas. Maybe it was because we were there on a Monday night and so they had less product because they were less busy, but the 28 oz filet to share was tough and not impressive. The flavor... More

It's located on the far end of town, past most of the hubbub. We sat outside and enjoyed another beautiful Costa Rican evening. My son and I shared the 28 oz fillet, which was BBQed over wood and served as bite sized chunks on a sizzling platter. The flavor and quality were excellent. My wife had fish BBQed in plantain... I'm not going to lie when I say I was impressed with the quality of food. Norma and Simone now what there doing down in the Tamarindo Beack area. We had the 28 oz. fliet and I have to tell you it melted in my mouth. On Fridays and Saturdays they offer the most enormous Lobster I've ever seen. I'm... More

This restaurant served up two excellent steaks and delicious pasta! They tried exceptionally hard to please. They were out of a few items on the menu but we were still left with lots of good choices. Don't let the simple surroundings put you off. I felt like this was an authentic meal with a staff that went the extra mile... More

I normally don't eat Italian when abroad, since I am from the country and I have plenty of options when I am home. Some friends highly recommended it and they wanted to have dinner there, so I went with the flow. Obviously, an italian chef is quite often a guarantee, and I ordered a thick lomito plate, accompanied by grilled... More

We ate at this restaurant this evening after seeing the good reviews on here. we have been in Costa Rica 10 days and have been having fairly mediocre dining experiences.
