We didn't make it to the Falafel Bar during our stay in Tamarindo but it looked amazing and the locals were raving about it. Even other restaurants recommended it! It's super clean and the food looked very fresh!

I was very excited see the Falafel Bar as I drove to my hotel in Tamarindo. I certainly wasn't expecting to find genuine, Israeli food and falafel in Costa Rica! I came here for lunch twice, and would have come many more times if only I had more time. The falafel was moist and soft - not like those previously... More

Great food at a reasonable price. Everything was very fresh and tasty. A welcome change from the fried food, beans and rice. The chicken shawarma was nicely spiced. I finally found fresh-cut Poppas Fritos. Every other restaurant I tried in Costa Rica served frozen Poppas Fritos. You need to ask for the location since the restaurant is a little off the... More

Probably the best babaganoush I've had anywhere - so smoky and full of flavor. Also, the watermelon drink is very refreshing during the heat of the day.

You could easily walk by this little place, but don't! Start with watermelon, basil, mint juice- so refreshing. Falafel and chicken souvlaki were cooked perfectly. Order extra pita bread, fresh and warm and so delicious. Good prices too.

The falafel and hummus served at this little spot are delicious! The kebab and shawarma aren't bad either. A nice refreshing change from the endless meals of rice and beans in Costa Rica!
