WE were 4 people and celebrating a birthday, I e-mail the day before to order a chocolate cake for that night and it was very good. The drinks were good, the margaritas. The menu was simple but very good, we took 4 different main course and it was delicious. We even were able to bring our own wine. The service... More

When my wife and I spent a week in Tamarindo Le Petit Cafe quickly became our go to place for breakfast. It's reasonably priced and they make a great cup of coffee. It's not a large place so seating could be an issue but for a breakfast burrito and coffee I can't recommend it enough.

I read the previous reviews, and thought I would be getting some amazing coffee. We stopped here with our kids for a little snack....it was the end of the day. The brownies my kids ate were enjoyed immensely, but the iced coffee I had was just average. Based on the number of rave reviews I definitely want to give this... More

We spent 2 weeks in Tamarindo and ate out every meal. This place had by far the best coffee in town!

Day 1 on our trip and day 1 in Tamarindo, I was so tired that I got a coffee in 90+ degree heat at “Le Petit Cafe." It was possibly the best cup of coffee that I have ever had- yes, this includes Italy… So, they have a breakfast deal for a coffee and a breakfast burrito for 2000 colones... More

I had an amazing alfalfa sandwich here this morning and a great capucchino. My friend had a grilled sandwich that she really liked as well. Both were really fresh; wish we had discovered this little gem earlier in our trip.

I really enjoyed having a sandwich in this cafe. Reasonably priced for Tamarindo and the service was good.

I like both Allison & Roxana. The service was great and the food and coffee delicious. We actually went daily and sometimes twice. I would not hesitate to recommend this little coffee shop.

My mother and I have been having breakfast here for the past few days. We find ourselves craving the awesome milky Costa Rican coffee as soon as we open our eyes! This lovely little spot is beautifully decorated with old movie posters and diner style tables and chairs. Free Internet and a great selection of desserts including chocolate cupcakes, carrot...
