We've been in Costa Rica for 3 weeks, tried lots of different restaurants, but none of them was better than Dragon Fly! The menu is perfect and atmosphere in the restaurant is resting and cute!!❤️ We highly recommend this place👌👍

This restaurant is off the beaten path but well worth it. Walk to La Baula and keep going around the curve toward the mini golf. The restaurant was charming and the staff very welcoming. The menu was like a dream and hard to choose. We had the fried plantain appitzier with black bean hummus, the mixed salad, the seared tuna... More

We went early thinking it would be busy on Friday night but not so! Service was great- my son said "the best steak I have ever had." Sangria was yummy! Highly recommend this place - nit as crowded as in town places.

My wife and I walked here our first night in Tamarindo. It's about a 5 minute walk from the main road. We were the first guests since they had just opened for dinner (I believe ~5:30pm). We both enjoyed some delicious drinks (mojito, piña colada) and listened to the sounds of early-evening Tamarindo. It was a hot night but the... More

All the great restaurants are off the paved road, and this one is no exception. The food is well prepared, and presented. The atmosphere is rather rustic, with almost a log cabiny type feel. The drinks are strong.

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! There was only three people working- 2 waitresses and one chef and they were amazing. The food was the best we tasted in tamarindo, highly recommended

Off the main roads, Dragonfly was a great choice for dinner. The open air atmosphere is charming with pleasant background music. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our gracious server, Laura, recommended 2 selections based on our tastes. Our portions were generous and well priced. The seared tuna was done to perfection and was accompanied with jasmine rice and... More

We hadn't been to Dragon Fly in quite a few years, and I must say, it has improved with age. I can't recall a better piece of Mahi Mahi, so cooked to perfection. The staff is just as attentive and helpful as ever.

I had seared tuna and it was outstanding. The rest of us thought there food was good, but a little pricey. Great ambiance and worth the trip.
