Bad Chicken

We visited Dragonfly last Tuesday night. It started badly as we arrived a bit late (8:50 as they close at 9:30). Our wait staffer never brought us our drinks during the whole meal (guess she wanted to get home) and when my son tried to order their rib eye steak they were out. He ordered the... read more

Very had to find such high quality food at reasonable prices. Well worth the extra few steps. And exceptional service. They could not get our credit cards to work so they let us pay the next day! Who does that?

Had our last meal in Tamarindo there. The service was great. The food great. The atmosphere lovely. Would recommend for a romantic evening. A nice stroll off the strip.

This is where you want to eat. We tried lots of places in the are and then found this place. My husband and I ate here twice and the food was unbelievable. We came back a second time because we loved our first experience so much. The restaurant is only about a block off the main drag and totally worth... More

We went here our final night of our vacation hoping to have that incredible meal. What a huge dissappointment. We sat at the bar and the bartender instantly turned the lights so low you couldn't see. He then gave us the wrong beer. I tried to ask questions about the menu and got little reponse back. My husband had the... More

We ate here tonight because of all of the positive reviews. The walk from the Diria wasn't as bad as we thought it might be and was very much worth the effort. We ordered the seafood linguini and the Red Snapper on Asian noodles. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and very delicious. The ambiance was very nice--lovely lighting and background... More

we ate here for supper and it was beautiful. They had the best piña coladas I have ever had. The food was reasonably priced and was very tasty. The only thing bad I can say is that they don't have enough staff. The service was not great but when there is a full restaurant and only two people on shift,... More

We dined at Dragonfly this week following our tradition of eating there whenever we are in Tamarindo......once again, the tuna was excellent as was the delicious beet salad and yummy brownie and ice cream dessert......our friends chose the mahi-mahi and seafood pasta, and they were also very pleased with their meals. This restaurant has a good reputation and a nice... More

Off the beaten path and you have to be told how to find it but once you do, it's wonderful. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere was so fun and relaxing. Tish, the owner, was walking around chatting with everyone. All around great place.. definitely need to check it out.
