My family of four just returned from Costa Rico august 2014 We spent many hours relaxing here. The food is good , drinks affordable, staff friendly, atmoshere excellant, There is beach seating or cooler covered seating. There are squirrels there that are so cute and friendly people hand feed them . very fun to watch. We would reccomend this spot.

Spent the day here during our honeymoon ordering drinks and food and watching the beach. Costa Rica is HOT and they have a great place to pull up some chairs in the shade with a full view of the ocean. Delicious drinks and food to top it off!

This year, this seemed to be one of few places open for breakfast on the beach in Tamarindo. Well, actually up from the beach...apparently you aren't allowed to sit on any of the beach chairs for breakfast, so we had to move up into the main part of the restaurant. Ok. Breakfast is fairly affordable, but you have to stick... More

This place is right on the beach so it provides for a great ambiance but we thought the dinner was way over priced for what we got. It wasn't bad, it was just okay but ended up being one of the most expensive meals of the trip for just dinner and a few drinks. I'd highly recommend it for apps... More

I stopped in for breakfast one morning and had an excellent desayuno typico and delicious Costa Rican coffee with a beautiful ocean view. I highly recommend the Copacabana for its atmosphere and view and the good food.

We loved sitting looking out towards the beach and the action. The food was super and we would definitely come back on a future trip.

A very pleasant surprise on the beach in Tamarindo after getting ripped off for lunch at El Coconut. It was Happy Hour and the cocktails were large tasty and about $3 USD each(2 for 1). The waitstaff was friendly and available. Seating at the beach allowed for people watching and a great sunset.

This place has a good view, but the food is bland at best and the service is just horrible. It's the worst service I've had in Costa Rica, the waitress was rude throughout the process and I would never eat here again and reccommend that you don't either. There are far better places in Tamarindo. It's not cheap either $16... More

This place seemed cool since it was on the beach, but the food was really not good and the servers were so busy talking with each other that we had to "interrupt" them to get anything from them. Bottom line, it's not worth your time.
