Great Location, Great Service

We loved their happy hour..... the mojitos were wonderful and loved the presentation. My husband loved the mashed potatoes! I loved the sea bass. Bianca was so helpful we all our first time Tamarindo questions.

Stopped in at the Lazy Wave, though now it is called Bokao, the Fare was mostly BBQ. but they also offered stingray and other uncommon delights. My friend enjoyed the tenderloin with such gusto it practically flew from his plate. I was a little less adventurous and had a burger that rivaled any I've ever eaten. our appetizers were also... We just came back from dinner at the "Lazy Wave" and we really enjoyed our time there. Especially the waiter was really friendly and attentive. We had the Tandoori chicken and a BC burger and both dishes are extremely good and we liked the good music and the chilled ambiente at this restaurant! I can really recommend it.

This restaurant has gone through some changes. It was located inside a courtyard and kind of looked dangerous because of the businesses up front. I risked it and had a fabulous dinner of Sting Ray...something I had never had before. On a recent return trip, I found that the restaurant has moved to front of the building and it looks... More

I went here for one purpose only and that was to try stingray for the first time. While I don't think stingray is my favourite, it was well worth the experience and they prepared it beautifully. The cocktails and apps here were great too. I loved the outdoor lounge area as well.

We found this place by accident, just walking around and it was tucked away in a corner across from a hotel/business complex. It looked cozy and had great ambience. The owners are husband & wife, the owner explained everything on the menu to us (how they price the lobsters, which are locally caught, locally, grass fed beef, etc). We had... More

I've been here in Tamarindo for a week and have eaten out every day for both lunch and dinner. I've dined in nearly every supposedly halfway decent restaurant in this tiny, surfing-centric village. The restaurants that spill onto the sand can be decent -- Nogui's, e.g. -- or better-than-average good -- Pangas (hands down the nicest in terms of setting,... More

We liked a lot of things about this place: seating choices (we sat near the bar), drink specials and the food. I'm not a rum drinker but the bartender won me over with an amazing spiced rum and lime concoction. Loved the goat cheese appetizer. Entrees were delicious, I'm not recalling specifics (did I mention how great that rum drink... More
