A nice place off the beaten path

We took a party of 8 with us for dinner, most everyone had a great meal, however the menu is very limited for those who do not eat meat. Those having steaks loved it said it was the best. This meal was out of this world-well balanced flavors, innovative combinations, and just plain delicious. We went for my father's 71st birthday, and the meal surpassed every expectation- even with all the wonderful reviews. The filet mignon was out of this world, the raison crusted mahi-mahi was incredible, the appetizers top notch- still craving the cauliflower dish.......Oh the octopus too!... More

Great food here. We had for appy the octopus, the filet mignion and the grilled calamari (prob could have skipped on). The mains were delicious, the steak and the seared tuna. Tuna was so fresh. The chef came out to great us after which was welcoming. Probably our best dinner was here.

This was my favourite place to eat! It was definitely more fancy than any place we went to! The chef, Shlomy made an effort to come and greet all his guests and asked how the meal was. At the end, he even shook our hands and thanked us for coming. We ordered the tuna tar tar and grilled octopus for... More

Girlfriend and I split the mustard sauce filet and the seafood pasta dishes and both were exceptional. As good as an restaurant anywhere! Also, the Ahi Tuna Sashimi appetizer was the best I've ever had. The homemade sauce, veggies and the fresh Ahi melted in your mouth.

I'm not sure why Seasons is not the #1 restaurant in Tamarindo. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Schlomy came by to answer questions about the menu, which was a nice touch. I had the grilled octopus, garden salad and a mahi-mahi special. The rest of my family had red snapper, healthy choice salad, filet mignon and seared tuna. All... More

Our last night in town and we had to see what the hype was about. Greeted by the presumed chef/owner who also took our reservation by phone, we felt very welcome. Assumed there would be large portions so we skipped on the appetizer. Our drinks were good enough for us to start. Filet mignon (needs a spelling update on the... More

Dinner on our last night of vacation was a bit of a mystery. We had heard great things about Seasons, housed at the Hotel Arco Iris, a short walk from our condo. The food was fabulous…healthy, fresh, unique. We tried various drinks – all delicious. It considers itself a “chef” restaurant, and it is obvious that the focus is on... More

We had heard amazing things about Chef Shlomy, and were excited to try his food. The night was had a reservation, Tamarindo lost power. Well, that didn't stop them! We ate by candle light and the kitchen cooked by candles. Any kitchen that can make the amazing food we had, without power, is incredible. In addition, they only take cash,... More

Everything that we ate was superb, some of the best food that we had in Costa Rica. It was a bit more expensive than other places that we went but having said that it was still a great value. My filet was 8oz and so tender you needed no knife and it was only $20. The food was divine, I... More
