We had a great meal at Nibbana this evening! Craig gave us so much good information about Tamarindo and Earnesto was very funny. The food was delicious and the portions were large. We plan to go back tomorrow. Laura, Calgary

This was always one of our favourite stops on previous trips to Tamarindo. But what a disappointment recently. Stopped in and sat at the bar in the early afternoon thirsty for a cold drink or two since happy hour was still supposed to continue for another half hour. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. Only one guy on... More

Myself and friend caught (2) mahi and a tuna. Heard many locals say this is the place to bring your fish and have them prepare you dinner. We brought approx 8 pounds of mahi filets and a 1 lb. tuna filet early afternoon. Asked the chef to make make tuna into shashimi, make mahi ceviche and whatever else he felt... More

Location right on the beach is fantastic. You can clearly see and hear the waves. The restaurant was somewhat empty the night we went. The food was OK.

We grabbed some drinks here to take out onto the beach. Good happy hour. They were just opening for the season so everything was not completely setup yet.

A beautiful location and nice selection on the menu. We had the grilled lobster for $25 and it was amazing! I would have preferred a lemon instead of lime and plain butter as opposed to garlic, but it was great. Tuna tartar is super fresh and Thai salad amazing. Our friend loved his pizza. The ceviche is also delicious as... More

We did not eat at this restaurant (but met people who did and said it was fabulous) but did enjoy sunset happy hour each night we stayed in tamarindo. Not all drinks are on the happy hour menu, but the selection is large and varied enough that you are certain to find something to your "gusto". We found the Hawaii... More

Had happy hour sunset cocktails. Good 2×1 drink specials and appetizer selection. Nice beach setting with amazing sunset views.

My wife and I returned to Tamarindo CR this year and decided to have lunch at Nibbana. Her lunch was the tuna tartar while I had the garlic grouper. My wife kept raving about how fabulous her lunch was and I know my vegetables tasted like they had just been picked from the garden. We sat out by the beach... More
