2 for 2 drinks at happy hour means 2 drinks for you not one each...so we drank a little extra ;) Food was average but the setting was beautiful, perfect for watching the sun set over the water More

We went with a big group including children. The Pizza was slow to come and the kids didn't like it. Waiter forgot to bring several items we ordered and was nowhere to be found when needed. Fish was fresh and delicious. More

Well, I ate allover Tamarindo staying here a month and Nibbanas has the best of everything pretty well. The tables on the beach are heavenly, with atmosphere, lighting etc.Prices are the full range, so it will meet with most budgets. I guess the thing that impressed me most was a very small soup and a fancy shooter after the meal, both for... More

We originally went to this restaurant for happy hour and ended up going back for dinner the next 2 evenings. Happy hour is a great deal but the food is what kept us coming back. The first night I had the "simply grilled lobster with vegetables" and it was fabulous and way more food than I could eat. My husband... More

I was in Tamarindo for 10 days and dined at Nibbana three times. Each night we (a group of seven) had a table right on the sand under the palm trees. It was the most spectacular view I have ever seen. The food was delicious. I had the sea bass twice and it was perfect. On our last night I... More

We ate at Nibbana after a day of sailing, so we were not sure we were up to a night out. So glad we changed our minds. The food was beyond expected. Lobster so good you wanted to cry. More

My husband and two friends arrived with a serious craving for real Costa Rican ceviche. Much to our despair, Costa Rican fare was not available. However, we ended up having some of the best fish dishes of our 18-day trip. My husband had the tuna Nicoise salad substituting seared tuna steak for the cooked variety. He swears it is the... More

A wonderful breakfast for a great price! The breakfast was a mere $6.50 US and included a cappuccino or coffee, a fruit drink which was more of a smoothie, and a full breakfast, such as beef and bean tacos. I ended up eating only half of mine and enjoyed the rest later that day. Views are great. Service was a... More

We had a romantic table just feet from the Pacific ocean on the beach. Our server Ivan made us feel very special and made fabulous suggestions for your dinner. The kitchen makes each dish look like a work of art...a lot of attention to detail. I can't wait to go back. More
