Chill Beach Bar

Chill bar right on the beach. We came after high season so it wasn't crowded which was nice. You can tell they caterer to a younger crowd or maybe families since they had ping pong, some beach beds, soccer etc. we ordered a few beers and some food and it was decently priced and the food was... read more

I loved this family-owned restaurant on the beach. Their ceviche is the best in town (in my humble opinion). Cold beer + best view during sunset. I've spent many lovely evenings and afternoons at the Pescador and I highly recommend it.

good food, they have a meal good for about 4 people its one huge fish that comes out whole, its fun to destroy with good friends and good for a photo. Good reggae music. There is a slack-line and a pull up bar on site and they are right on the beach. Fire dancers once or twice a week and... More

I don't like curry and therefore did not like the food. Limited menu and no credit cards accepted. Right on the beach up from tourist boat launches so they get the traffic in spite of meh food or service. Go somewhere else that has just as good a view and better food.

This place has a fabulous beach view! The food is just OK. The service was fine. Beware of the stray cats on the beach stopping by for a visit!

The owners of this place are aggressive with clients, no respect, Me and my friends we had the worst experience ever... Don't go! There are so many good other places in Tamarindo :)

I think it was the server's 2nd day on the job. The service was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW! At one point we spilled a drink. The server was right there and instead of bringing napkins he turned to the other table and asked about their check. Another server ran over with napkins. The ceviche was good. I enjoyed the arroz topical.... More

The restaurant is located on the beach, not far from Tamarindo center. As far as I could see, it does not have inside seating, and all its tables are placed outside, on the sand, and overlooking the Pacific ocean and horizo. Beautiful, especially at sunset. The food is so-so, not bad, but nothing to write home about. This is compensated... More

I was going to eat lunch at el pescador after fishing but before we went out to the boat, I ran up to use the outdoor bathroom at this place. When I came out of the bathroom, the woman working behind the bar started yelling at me. She told me several times that she is French (not sure why that... More
