In San Jose, the hotel owner told us about Nogui's and especially the pies. We ate at a patio table by the beach and enjoyed the activity including a fire juggler. The food was excellent - but the pies! Wow!

Best & least expensive restaurant for drinks and/or good dinner at sunset. Sit on the beach with your feet in the sand. Get there by 5pm for a beach seat & happy hour is until 6:30. Food is fresh & well prepared, delicious without the fanfare of pricier restaurants on the beach.

We loved everything we tried at Nogui's and ate there frequently after finding it on tico-to-go online. Amazing chicken sandwiches & banana cream pie; Definitely recommend to anyone!

Right on the beach, very low-key and awesome! I had the special whole fried red snapper two nights in a row. That's how good it was:) Also, they are famous for their pie (Coconut, Banana & Chocolate Cream), so save room or take some home. Great Patron Marg's. Really you can't go wrong with this place!!

Whats great about Nogui's is you can pull up a big chair under a shade tree and eat a bit while on the beach. We had ceviche and shrimp tacos (massive) with Imperial and a view. Perfect!

Great food and awesome location right on the beach in Tamarindo. The macadamia nut crusted mahi with jalapeño cream sauce was amazing and the staff was very friendly. They recommended their homemade coconut cream pie for dessert and it was the best coconut cream pie I've ever tasted. We liked it so much that we ate there the next night... More

Right on the beach with a great cup of coffee, it doesn't get any better. Typical Costa Rican fare that hits the spot. Reasonable prices and good service. Sit back and enjoy the scenery and breath out the stress.

They have nice dishes and the ceviche is great. recommended for a quick lunch, nothing fancy. Entrees are US $12-20.

Nogui's was part of our daily routine. Enjoy a meal on the beach, relax in the cool breeze or watch the most amazing sunsets. Great staff and great food (the coconut cream pie and apple pie are out of this world!). And while you're there, check out Lydia Beech's art shop or sign up for a stand-up paddleboard lesson with...
