Tabanuco is well known as a reggae bar BUT you should try their restaurant. With what seems to be the largest menu is Samara and many of the plates are only available here. I had several meals here and everyone was great, you could order blind off the menu. Open for lunch and supper. The reggae starts around 9pm so... More

Located directly on the beach. We stopped in for a few drinks and a snack. Beers were cold and the food was ok.

Can't complain or rave about this restaurant - it is on the beach, which is a plus. The food was good, but not memorable.

Tico owners. Great food. Really nice waiters. Right on beach next to Choco's surf school. The taco con carne is good too. but... we had the fish tacos pretty much every day we went to the beach.

i sat at one of their beachfront umbrellas late one morning to escape the sun. After an hour or so, i noticed that they were opening, so i strolled back to the bar and ordered a drink. over the next two hours, my wife and daughter joined me for fantastic ceviche and a guacomole based salad. truly wonderful location, with... Although they specialize in meat and seafood they had a few vegetarian dishes which were delicious. Would prob wait until happy hour next time as drinks were a bit pricey... Food was great though. Right on the beach with a great view of watching people surfing. Atmosphere was great, staff friendly, food delicious.

It has average prices and average food. The selection of dishes is ok, not much for vegetarians, though. The view of the beach is lovely.

We were here a few times. my husband and i loved the Mixed seafood woth rice and shared it for luhcn with leftovers. Cold beer, if you drink it fast. Samara is Hot! Ladies night and Reggae night are very popular here and quite the party with the younger crowd. Its right on the beach just off the main street.... More

We didn't eat here, but they have happy hour from 4-6, and probably the coldest beer on the beach. A great way to end a tiring day of laying on the beach, swimming, napping, reading etc. Very friendly staff and wi-fi to boot if you want to check in to the world.
