Great seafood BBQ.

Ate here twice in 4 days while in Samara and ate once at their identical restaurant in Manuel Antonio. I'm addicted to Mahi (Dorado) and have to say their filets are fantastic and grilled to perfection. Came with a baked potato and grilled veggies - yummie ($11). It was happy hour (its always happy... read more

I love my seafood & always willing to pay for a good service & plate of food, specially if you are at the coast! Oysters as you well know, it's an acquired taste and not everyone likes them BUT If you like them, you will never miss an opportunity to have them! Well, what a disaster! We got served 6... More

Found this restaurant by accident when we made a wrong turn into a dead end. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who showed us to a table and immediately took our drinks order. The first thing we noticed were the tables , the tops are hewn ,sliced tree trunks which have been smoothed and highly varnished...... Very interesting.... More

Rode by this restaurant, not many people inside because of the rain, rode around checking out other restaurants but still raining and hubby really wanted to visit here so we ventured in and I must admit it was the best meal we've ever had in Costa Rica. Wonderful atmosphere. As I'm listening to the rain pounding on tin roof above,... More

Very fresh fish. The best baked potato I've ever eaten. A little off the beaten path, but well worth it. Go there!

Came here for dinner with friends on the first night in town. We were a bit skeptical at first because it seemed pricey and a simple menu, but it was definitely worth the trip! They make their fish and meats on a wood burning oven that gives everything absolutely mouth-watering flavors. We had the fish filet (highly recommend) and the... More

This restaurant is one block off the beach. It has a unique wood grill with the wood fire over the food. We split the portabella mushroom appetizer which was stuffed with cheese. It was delicious. Then I had the grilled jumbo shrimp - perfectly seasoned and succulent. It comes with grilled tomato, grilled zuchinni and baked potato. My husband even... More

One of the best meals I've ever had... We had to go back for another feast the next night. It's hard to explain how they grill their foods, but once you see it you'll wonder why more restaurants haven't figured it out.

First we asked if prices were including taxes (13%) and services (10%), answer was yes but at the moment to order service was no more included. Nevertheless we decided to stay and try the famous wood bbq. And no regrets food was excellent. But PAY ATTENTION TO THE BILL. They will from one way or another try to steal you.... More

Expect to spend around $50/person if you want to have a drink or two. I'd say stay away from the Jumbo shrimp cocktail as the shrimp while huge were warm and the dipping sauce looks like thousand island and doesn't have much or a taste. The ribs were great but definitely not fall off the bone, the surf and turf... More
