My husband heard of this place and it happened to be right down the road from our hotel. The food was absolutely incredible and had an Asian, Thai, Costa-Rican twist to it. The wine list was extensive and the prices were very good.

We went to Ginger's twice while staying at Playa Hermosa...and I'd go back every night if I could! The owner, Anne, is a delightful Canadian who knows food! Her wonderful staff adds to the experience of fine dining. The filet mignon is my personal favorite. It's a petit filet speared with a sprig of rosemary and covered with a tower... More

This was a decent place to visit and I think overall for Costa Rica - it was pretty good. Best items: Thai Red Curry Beef on Cripsy Plantains and the Dorado Dorado were the best items on the menu.

After having been disappointed with Tapas a few times, we are a fan of this restaurant. You order 2 or 3 tapas per person - and if you like, share with the table. The variety of offerings, fine flavors and the tasty execution (light on sauces, thank you!) made for a very enjoyable dinner experience. Located on the trough street... More

This is a really cute place, they have a great setting - a treehouse like restaurant. They are known for their tapas, but with an asian flare. I don't really remember a memorable dish, but everything we ordered was good. Drinks were very good!! If you don't want to go for dinner - it s a great place to hang... More

This treehouse restaurant is truly something special. The tapas were all amazing but it is very pricey. We were a little shocked when we got our ticket, but all the food was great. We had the Fillet, Ahi Tuna, Firecracker Shrimp and the Lettuce Wraps. The Ahi Tuna was cooked perfectly and I'd definitely recommend that. We also had the... More

quite pricey for a tapas , but then again everything in Costa Rica is pricey especially for tourist, food is good. Bats flying in the nearby tree while we are having dinner. Staff are accommodating and pleasant.

Ginger is a lovely restaurant set on the Pacifico property on the main road into Playa del Coco. The food is well prepared, nicely presented and delicious. The wait staff and kitchen staff are friendly and accommodating to specific requests. We have gone with small children without a problem. The patio is very nice. It is pricey, although, if it...
