Way over priced. Supposed to be a "soda". Either this place has two menus or they have only one with really inflated GRINGO pricing. BTW, I live here and will never set foot in there again.

When deciding to vacation in Costa Rica, I did not want American Food. I can get that at home. I wanted to eat what the locals eat. The food at Pescado Loco was authentic, fresh and delicious. The owner Florabeth was gracious with my broken Spanish. Thank you for all five meals, see you next year!

Playa Hermosa is quite after dark. So if you are looking evening cocktail or two, try the Pescado Loco next the Velero Hotel. Tell the owner, Florabeth, that “baile Tomas” sent you. You may get a big smile and stronger drinks.

I wish I knew the proper prices in this region... $16 for a ceviche mixto was far too much for a small bowl of otherwise fun and rather tasty sea thingies. Still - it was my beginning in Costa Rica and I expected much bigger portion. :/ Shrimp coctail was a bowl of mayo-ketchup garnished with 6 shrimps. Expensive too.

I got the chicken taco which was to include fries for $6.00, I did not get the fries and they charged $8.00. There was nothing but the taco. There was no customer service. They didn't even turn the lights on. I was the only customer. It tasted horrible. Do not go there.
