The guys here work hard to keep the best sports games on the big screens ,the coldest beer at your table and a menu that keeps it real when it comes to being fully fed for a Great Price.....love this place.

A great open-air restaurant with exceptional rice with chicken in a country full of rice with chicken! (This web site doesn't recognize the Spanish words for rice and chicken) We were so impressed that we ate there a second time during our short 2-day stay in the area!

Whether it was breakfast or lunch we stopped by Kikes. Recommend trying the Fried Chicken and Fries !! It's close to the beach so it's easy to laze around and then come up for a bite to eat!

To be up front - we did not eat here - But we did stop in to buy their homemade(?) hot sauce - 'Yanne's Chiles XXX' which is exceptional, plus they had the 'Tirreno-Adriatico' cycling race on the TV - even though I was just in to but the sauce the service was great, atmosphere was chilled (which is good).

This is a nice local spot to check out, especially if you want a break from the more expensive, hotel-based restaurants that dominate Playa Grande. I was here early in the morning for breakfast (I hadn't yet adjusted to the time change), and while the restaurant wasn't yet open, the people were very nice and accommodating while I waited. My... In the course of a week we ate there a half dozen times. Four grown adults with domestic beers could eat for less that $50 in total a meal. But the price is misleading as they serve some of the best Casado in Costa Rica (I know of which I write as we've spent more than a month here in... More

We loved stopping here on our walk home from the beach while in Playa Grande. The food, drinks, and atmosphere is on point.

During our 3 day stay at Playa Grande, we found ourselves revisiting this place. The food was typical Costa Rican food and very good. You might even see monkeys too nearby on the trees.

This is a more typical restaurant for Costa Rica. Very good food and nice people. Great prices. Lots of kids tours here so it was pretty busy.
