This is not a typical "hotel" eatery . Located on the second floor with nice views of the beach ( through the trees) with both inside and outside seating. The beer was ice cold and the service was very good. We enjoyed chicken quesadias and cheese quesadias as well as 2 imperial beers and an ice tea. Total price (... More

We went for drinks only. Two-for-one happy hour as sunset approaches, and then a quick walk down to the beach for a world-class sunset.

The menu at Las Tortugas is really extensive. Maybe 7 or 8 pages and everything from breakfast (pancakes, omelets and rice and beans) to a steak dinner with EVERYTHING in between; spaghetti, quesadillas, fish and chips, burgers, seafood, apple pie and more. We visited in 2011 and the menu is exactly the same, and it was old then. The service... More

We went in for lunch and sat out on the deck. It was a lovely atmosphere and the waitress was very sweet and really funny. Unfortunately, I do not remember her name but we all loved her! The food was fantastic and the bird watching was very cool.

Great Eco hotel with restaurant and bar service. On the beach. Good selection for all meals. Say hi to Sandra.

The Boca Plates are good - especially the Pescado (mahi-mahi) with a ton of fries - I am staying at the hotel and it is great to have a nice, reasonably priced restaurant with a view of the surf!

The food at Las Tortugas was your average fair for Costa Rica. I stayed at the hotel four nights and ate several meals in the restaurant. The staff is local, caring and bilingual, willing and patient to practice Spanish with the diners. The two-for-one Mango margaritas at happy hour are yummy.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel and ate here often. The food is simple, fresh, and quite reasonable. The open air environment is relaxing. Banana pancakes, mahimahi burgers with fries, seared mahi on a salad, very cold beers, I couldn't have asked for better.
