A proper pizza oven

We had a two fantastic vegetarian pizzas cooked fresh to order, so any topping combination is possible. The service was excellent, the atmosphere great and the price very reasonable. The only problem, we forgot to ask, where does the name come from?

We came back because the first time we tried it we really enjoyed it. But this time the food was unbelievable. Its a good thing we came back because after this I would come back every time. Great service at a fair price and amazing food.

When we weren't at La Sodita Italiana, we were at Tubla for their delicious wood oven pizza. Recommend starting out with the salad topped with tuna carpaccio. (can get pizza to go too!)

We only tried the pizza, but loved everything we ordered. Pizza's are about the size of a dinner plate so we each ordered a different pizza and brought the leftovers home. They did have some others things on the menu like pasta that looked decent as well. It took a little while to get pizza's though as they cook each... More

This was definitely one of the best pizzas I had in CR. The waitress was great and really organised but the restaurant did seem a little under staffed for how many people were there so I'd recommend going early!

Had dinner there while staying in Playa Flamingo. Really good, wood fired pizza. Quick, friendly service. Nothing fancy, just good pizza and reasonable prices.

Never thought we would eat or like pizza in Costa Rica coming from Chicago but the pizza was excellent! Great atmosphere and the staff (owners) were great! Great for a romantic dinner to a group of friends with kids! Nutella pizza for dessert-a hit with our kids! Oh and don't forget to try one of the salads--so good!

I have to say that this was the best pizza I have ever had. I like thin crust and it was definitely thin and delicious. We were having a pool party and the owner got this pizza, amazing.

Wonderful food and service. Food quality was excellent and the prices are extremely reasonable. I'm not sure why it's listed with three dollar signs. Ambiance was lovely, quiet and intimate yet comfortable. We plan to return later in the week.

Food and service were both excellent. We plan on returning again before the end of our trip. Ambiance was very good, relaxing atmosphere not noisy. I did get nibbled on by a few mosquitoes but we had a lovely experience otherwise. Very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner while visiting the area.
