Not impressed, and atmosphere is sub par

There are much better places (and more scenic places) to eat in Playa del Coco. We came here our first night of six, and it was easily our worst meal. Also, they hire some guy to stand on the street and harass you until you agree to eat there, which is annoying. The waiters were nice, the... read more

We went there for a surf and turf but they had no lobster. I had Filet Mignon and it came with a mushroom sauce/gravy that overwhelmed the filet. When I asked the waitress what this was she said the meat was the 'filet' and the sauce was the 'mignon'. Huh? The steak was cooked as rare as I like however... More

we had dinner in 3 last night here. We ordered 1 calamares frittos y 1 patacones to share and 3 mariscadas with soft drinks. Bill came about 85 dollars and the food was not that great in taste nor in freshness. staff was though very nice and friendly.

We went to Las Olas based on previous tripadvisor reviews. We were looking for some seafood dishes and decided to try this restaurant, and like others, we weren't disappointed. We ordered 4 entrees, 3 cocktails/drinks, 2 desserts for 4 people and it cost us less than $100 U.S. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. Don't judge the exterior, as... More

You can't go wrong at Las Olas. We had ceviche for an appetizer and it was amazing. For entrees we had Surf & Turf, which was a nice strip steak and Shrimp with Mahi Mahi and a "Stuffed Lobster". The lobster was HUGE!!! And besides the entire lobster, it was piled high with fish, calamari, crabmeat, shrimp, clams and mussels.... More

We were referred to Los Olas and took a chance. We were pleasantly surprised because our waiter was gracious and helpful. The food was very good. My husband and I both had the surf and turf which consisted a small medallion of beef, three shrimp, and a piece of white fish in a mild garlic butter sauce. It. It was... More

Great food and service. We went on a Sunday evening, had the place pretty much to ourselves. So we had great service. Our waiter was very friendly and spoke good English. The coconut shrimp was huge and very good. Prices are good. The drinks were great, my husband said the Margarita was awesome.
