Don't go!

Although this restaurant is very well located in front of the beach, its got the worst service in the whole area! Don't recommend it at all. We had a very bad experience.

Decided to have dinner here after day at the beach. Had 2 items from the tapas menu, clams and ceviche. Both were tasty, but cost as much as an entree. The clams were tiny with only a minimal amount of meat. 3/5 on taste quality only.

We had breakfast here twice this trip. Two of us had the Costa Rican and one in our group had the Mexican. Everyone loved the food. We stayed and sat on the beach chairs provided and later had cocktails. Great service. Lovely setting.

Great place to lounge, swim in the ocean and dine beachside. The staff is friendly and there are enough to serve in a timely manner. Happy hour is two for one from 5 to 6pm. There food is very good...try the fish and chips.

Probably one of the best Margaritas that i have had. Four times the cost of the Happy hour drinks on the main drag, nearly 4 times as good. Right in the beach, beautiful views, very expensive food. Nice to stop by to enjoy, not the place to stay for more than one cocktail. Friendly staff.

This bills itself as a Boutique establishment - expensive and pretentious is how I would describe it. Low level tables and seating is fine if you want to snack but not for dinner out. The location is fabulous - right on the beach. There are a few proper tables inside. The service was a good if a little shambolic from... More

Had the calimari and the nachos. Both were delicious. Washed them down with coitus amounts of Imperial Beer. I'd rest there and snack every time I swam. Nice place, AMAZING VIEW.

Do not go here this is where the Las Palmas Travel Network does their dirty work, If you are down on main street don't fall for the scratch card guys , they will bring you here for a free breakfast and high pressure sales staff. Avoid it altogether. The food is not that good anyway.

This is possibly the "sexiest" place in an otherwise sort of dump town. Playa del coco in fact reminds me a little bit (all else being equal) Aguascalientes in Peru. A place that has grown without any measure, style or rationaity. With the difference that Coco has more variety and has a beach. Cafe de Playa is located in the... More

We have a time share in the location, and get to use the beach at Cafe de Playa with the time share. The food and service are good, the do charge you extra for the beach view. The service is very good. Don't buy a time share.
