Local restaurant by the beach. True "casadito".

Local staff at the hotel recommended Soda Teresita for traditional Costa Rica meal. It's off the main street by the sea walk, direct views to the Coco Beach, in one of the corners of the streets that lead onto the beach. It's a local restaurant managed by locals with local cook and local... read more

A great location across from the beach but that's about it. Gallo pinto (rice and beans) was burnt and flavourless. The menu was unique in being full of excuses or bold messages of what the guest should not expect! There are other, better options nearby.

Onan was our server, he speaks very good English and the food was great. Typical Costa Rican dishes that are great. The Soda is right across the street from the beach, delightful.

This is a very nice, local restaurant. We usually went for breakfast, but our group went back repeatedly during our week. Friendly, family place.

Should not be sharing with everyone the very BEST place to get the BEST meal in Coco. We hate to advertise what a great place this is as we might be without our table overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A great place to sit back, enjoy a beer while your supper or lunch is prepared for you What a great place... More

My husband and I enjoyed lunch at La Teresita and are heading back today. Located near the beach at the end of the road, it doesn't look like much from the outside. However, EAT THERE! We both had the traditional lunch dish which includes a protein, beans, grilled plantain, rice and salad. I had perfectly prepared fish and Todd had... More

Really good authentic food at a reasonable price. Had fried sea bass along with gallo pinto and a nice cup of coffee, all within view of the beach. Service was very friendly and accommodating

What more can one ask for? Great food, excellent service and good prices. We had mahi mahi and it was excellent. One couple came in off beach and wanted to dine outside. Two waiters picked up an inside table and brought it outside for the customer. Great p rices

Popped in for an early eve snack. Had ceviche which was yummy. Much closer to what we are accustomed too. Very small, good service, no license, not the cleanest or prettiest place. One of the oldest restaurants on the strip and I think one of the most authentic.

A great spot to sit outside or in. Good selection and very reasonable prices. We were very happy with our meals and the portions are generous. They seem to stay open fairly late which is nice if you don't feel like eating early. Pleasant staff and good service are a plus. Recommended.
