Wow. Always nice to drop into a place and be pleasantly surprised. If the local Tico's are eating there, you know it has to be good. And it is! Excellent dishes. Great selection. Family-owned atmosphere. Make you feel like your family. Met Jesus and had a great visit. Went back a second time and enjoyed it even more. A couple... More

My wife and I enjoyed very good food here. The best seafood rice around CoCo. Go for sunrise breakfast eggs rancheros. Book a fishing trip, you won't be disappointed . top I notch.

We had the typical Costa Rican dish with sea bass. The fish was delicious but instead of the usual vegetables ( choyote etc) we were given soggy pasta shells. You can order beer though. The owner/server came three or four times during the meal to promote his fishing trips. The flies were pretty bad at lunch hour too. .

you want to eat like the locals with the locals then you need to come here ,right on the corner of street, close to beach, across the street from the park plenty of parking and a choice of eating in or outside, plenty of fresh air blowing, plates are huge for less money, but it is a soda so no beers or alcohol is served.

Love the ceviche here. Some of the best i've had in Costa Rica. Great location by the beach. Expect to spend about $30-35 (usd) for two people.

The owner of this who's also your server is very nice, but food is pricey and not really tasty, rice and beans were rock hard, chicken was ok but no flavor, veggies looked like they been out for a while, had the watermelon juice wich was a little water down, after lunch i found myself at subway down the street!

We ordered the typical fish and it was excellent. The setting is very basic but has a view of the beach. Don't expect anything fancy and you will enjoy the food.

Just returned from a 2 week vacation and both my son and husband enjoyed the Casado con Pescado served from this place. My son loved it so much that he would only eat the same dish from this place and ate there at least 8 times during our stay. There was so much food that my husband usually at the... More

We love this little place with a view of the beach. The Casado con Pescado, with rice, frijoles, plantains, a pickled salad and the hottest served fish in the world is just awesome. This was our 2nd trip to the area and the 1st place we returned to for what was and remains our favorite meal while in Playas de... More
