Our last meal in Playa. We went here on advice of one our tour guides for good ceviche. Its a short walk inland just east of the auto-mercado, and well worth it. Flavor and prices were great. Highly recommended.

Great little local restaurant. A little outside the center of town. Food was good. Had my first casado (with fish) as well as an order of patacones here and both were very good. Prices were pretty reasonable as well.

This place is on the way into Coco on the left side. It has a large outside seating area. We had ceviche, fried red snapper, lobster, and chicken. The food was was very good, the price was reasonable, and although we were the only ones there for lunch, the service was good. It was recommended by locals. And so do... More

My husband and I ate lunch here on the recommendation of the hotel we were staying at. My previous visit to Costa Rica I had a meal of fresh grilled red snapper that was very memorable so I was on a quest to duplicate this meal. Unfortunately, this was not the place to find that unbelievable grilled snapper. My snapper... More

Got to be careful with this place two times I've been in a month two times I ended up sick. Two days ago I ordered "seafood rice" today I'm leaving the clinic with the clear diagnose of food poisoning.

Went for lunch and LOVED it. Slow pace, but very relaxing and great food. Lemon shrimp was a hit and the Ceviche was perfect. We wish we'd had another day to try dinner...

We were staying in an all inclusive hotel and needed something decent to eat, were directed here by some locals, had grilled lobsters with garlic sauce and seafood stuffing. It was absolutely wonderful. Service is a little slow as everything is freshly prepared but well worth the wait. A fried seafood appetizer was hot, fresh, and delicious. We plan to... More

Short walk from the condos we stayed at. Low season, so we were the only ones in the restaurant in the back. There is also bar type seating up front, near the road for more casual atmosphere. Good ceviche. Was amazed how well behaved the family dogs were. Circled the restaurant seating area, but never entered it.

Rick Vogel at our hotel, Rancho Armadillo, recommended Milanes, and the food is excellent. The service is a bit inconsistent but generally good. It can be loud if there is a soccer game on the televisions.

Great place, love the atmosphere and the food. The "Lomito" is delicious, my girlfriend ordered fish stuffed with shrimps, awesome too. A+++ Great service as well!
