During our week stay we ate here twice. There plate of calamari is HUGE and delicious and their specialty pizzas are small but excellent. The owner is super nice and cool!

We had a very tasty and filling pasta dish, nice cold beer, not cheap but not expensive. The service was good and friendly and the food is all made fresh to order.

We stayed at Playa de Las Palmas and ate several meals at La Dolce Vita. The food was great. The service was exceptional and the prices too good to be true.

Read all the great reviews, but I guess I missed something. Took the family out for a nice casual dinner. Place was maybe 1/4 full, it took 2 hours to finally eat. Ordered fish soup, kids had steak, grilled fish and I ordered pasta since it is Italian. One steak was bleeding, the grilled fish was drowned in sauce and... More

We have eaten here the last couple of nights. The service is excellent; the staff are very friendly, especially the hostess. She even caught up with us on our way out to ask if everything was alright. The meals came very quickly, and even included an appetizer which we didn't order...a pre-dinner tapa!! Last night I had the red snapper,... More

Ordered Beef Tenderloin with a Blue Cheese topping, one of the specials on the menu the night we visited. Had heard that beef in Costa Rica could be tough but this steak was tender and tasty. Meal came with vegetables and mashed potatoes cooked to perfection. Staff was friendly, service was slightly slow but all in all a good dinner... More

Pizza appeared to be their specialty here. The ingredients were fresh and they had the traditional pizzas and some creative specials too. The thin crust pizza was amazing and would be the equivalent of a medium pizza in North America and ranged from $10-$25 U.S which made it one of the more inexpensive places to eat. You couldn't ask for... More

We ate pizza here at least three times during our one week stay in Playas del Coco. The pizza was really good, thin crust, so much better than we were expecting to find in the area. The margherita pizza was our favorite.
