Good Italian food and nice ambiance but average service

Convenient location if u r in the La Palmas community and nice ambiance. The food is very good especially the pizzas. However the service is slow and uniinspired.

My friends and I were looking for different dining options and this restaurant was recommended to us by several locals. First, it is more than a bit off the beaten path. I'd recommend taking a cab because it's a bit of a walk and after dark, you're just walking down the side of an unlit road with no sidewalks. Just... More

Friendly servers and a very good meal, we dined twice this trip and surely will be back! Nice semi outdoor dining area within a small enclosed plaza. A little off the main street, but worth looking for!

This place while a little off the main drag was truly a remarkable find. It was some of the best Italina food I've eaten, anywhere! The brick oven pizza was perfect, the pastas and meats well prepared and sauces jsut the right consistency. The only down side was that we didn't find this place earlier on our trip becuase we... La Dolce Vita was recommended to us by a friend who enjoyed it. We went on a weekday night when it wasn't crowded. We weren't in any hurry (and were already accustomed to Costa Rican Time). We were seated and didn't see anyone working there again for over twenty minutes, so we left. I don't mind waiting for food and... More

We live in the Guanacaste area and this is the second time we have visited this establishment. a quaint charming looking place from the outside but the worst customer service we have experienced. every question we asked our waiter he had no idea what to answer nor did he take incentive to ask. We asked several times what a specific... More

I came to restaurant wanting to try a different place in Coco since I always seem to go to the same one. Unfortunately, although the food may have been good I could not eat any of mine because it had shrimp on/ in it which I am allergic too. I may have ordered wrong, but I am little disappointed that... Ate here twice during our stay, once out of convenience, once in return. Italian chef. Good menu options with daily specials. Dessert menu has a local tweak to it. Recommend the mousse al maracuya (passion fruit). Worth returning for! Reasonable prices. Spotty service. Pay in colones, as the exchange rate to calculate the bill to dollars is horrible.
