Papagayo is pretty good-love the garlic butter seafood platter. Not too expensive but not cheap either. Very friendly staff. Went there quite a few times.

We decided to eat here after seeing the menu outside and striking up a conversation with the host (or possibly manager), who is originally from NJ/ PA. The restaurant is large with a lot of seating. They easily had 10 kinds of fresh fish to choose from along with even more sauces/ cooking methods. My friend had tilapia with a...

Everyone knows Papagayo and it is always consistently good. We first tried it 3 yrs ago when we were at the Riu and came to Coco to check things out and now that we've stayed in Coco the last 2 years, Papagayo is place we visit often. Their fish selections are great and they prepare them many different ways.

We found the seating comfortable, the view of the street entertaining, the wait staff attentive, prices quite reasonable and the music lovely. It's definitely on...

On our first night in CR we needed a nice bite to eat. I ordered the red snapper and was very satisfied as the fish was very fresh and tasty.
The grammer and shrimp soup is the best that I have eaten in all of Central America. The service and the attention to detail were both excellent.. I would have no problem rating the food as foyr star.
