We visited this cafe on the recommendation of our tour guide en route to Monteverde. The cafe looks unassuming but the service is great and the food is the best we've had in CR. The home-made tomato soup was the best we've had anywhere in the world. The French onion soup was delicious. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty and... More

The view of Lake Arenal is spectacular! Every staff member was helpful and hard-working. Marco was especially helpful! Pride in the restaurant and its food was evident. The desserts were amazing! Try the pineapple-upside-down cake or the mango cake. Everything was fresh; everything was well-made. We returned to the restaurant because it was so good. Also try the pizza, the... More

Had lunch here today while driving from La Fortuna to Monteverde. Open air seating in the back gives way to an amazing view of the lake. They serve fresh fruit smoothies and amazing ice tea. There is a vast menu and everything we ordered was delicious. The desserts are the best part though. Try the chocolate macadamia nut cookie -... More

Stopped here on drive from Guanacaste to Arenal. Fresh prepared food with an open kitchen and you can watch the food being prepared. Great view of Lake from back porch with picnic seating. I had casado, perfect, coffee was spectacular. Pizza was thin and not great. Salty. More like a sauceless flat bread. Kids didn't like it. Turkey mozzarella panini... More

The advertisements along the road ensconcing Lake Arenal were correct: this place is indeed the perfect pause! My wife and I enjoyed an excellent lunch at reasonable prices. The quality was excellent (she had the tilapia casado and I had the chicken curry), and every dish we saw come out of the kitchen looked fresh and delicious. The menu is... More

We never drive by without stopping for a photo, delicious food, and cold drinks. I always order the chicken curry. My son always gets the chicken casado and my husband gets the breakfast plate. It's all healthy and natural. I order the green tea drink and it's amazing! The kitchen is open and you can see them cooking and baking... More

We stopped at this cafe for a rest on our way from Liberia airport to Mount Arenal. The cafe and sweets were delicious. It had a great outdoor space and was very relaxing for a rest on our journey.
