Stopped for breakfast on our way from the Liberia area to Drake Bay. Great service, super clean, even the bathroom was one of the best I've ever seen. Coffee was very rich, not bitter in the least and came with frothy milk. Plenty of locals there, which is always a great sign. Hearty breakfast for two, including coffee and juice... More

We took the south route from Hacienda Panilla to Arenal and came by this large BBQ restaurant on interchange to the pan American highway. We had the brisket and chicken and it was very good with exceptionally nice bathrooms.

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch yesterday on a trip back from Escazu. We had seen the many signs for Tres Hermonas dotting the highway, we were both hungry and thought we would give it a try. The servers were friendly and welcoming, we were seated and promptly served our beverages. My husband ordered the pork... More

This place is quite big for a Costa Rican restaurant.Nevertheless, it was clean and service was fast (we did arrive, though, after usual dinner time - we were there at about 9 pm). Food was great, with a generous selection of dishes. Restrooms were spacious and clean, way above what you can find in the country. Prices were average.

I passed by there on Feb. 14. It is strategically located at the cross roads of InterAmericana Hwy and Road 18 towards Nicoya and Samana. It is actually spelled 3 HERMANAS. See pictures. Cant comment much about food, but I have to mentions the washrooms. The best I saw for a public place in Costa Rica. Very modern, very clean... More

Wow, we stop for breakfast and we were knocked off our feet. My wife had a ham and cheese omelet with sliced brisket as a meat, she loved it! I had the Desayuno Tres Hermanas. This dish has two poached eggs, hard yolk in a stew/soup broth. The broth is BBQ, yes BBQ flavored stew with a mixture of ham... More

We got great recommendations about this place. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Ordered MW tenderloin and got a extra-well-done-burned steak. You could have tell that in some point the steak had a great potential but we weren't lucky enough to find out. Pork chop was nice though. The main problem was- we don't speak Spanish and the waiter was just hiding... More

Tres Hermanas is located on a crossroad from panamerican highway heading to Liberia and the detour to the Tempisque river. This lication is excellent for ayone travelibg to or from nicest beaches on the north Pacific area. Quality of food, mainly meat is great and service is very nice and fast. Prices varies depending on what you order, but fits... More

This is one of the many choices you have from Puntarenas to Guanacaste. The service was slow, but many places are in Costa Rica, nobody is in a hurry here until they get in their cars! The food was above average, and was a little pricy for what we had, but not that disappointed.
