Location is very good, at an important crossing on Panamerican Highway. Building and bathrooms very well kept and a nice play area for the kids. Food is ok, tastes of, but not realy worth the price: rather small and unimpressive. We went there 2 times (while going to the beach and going back) and both of the times they asked... More

The drive from San José to the beaches of northern Guanacaste is beautiful, but just as it gets a bit tedious, there appears the restaurant Tres Hermanas, on the corner of the road taking of the the so-called "friendship bridge" that cuts the distance to the beaches considerably. If you are a vegetarian, then continue your journey - but all... More

Food was average. Kind of expensive. Close to the main highway and near gas station that is located across the street. Not a bad place. Of course the folks are nice. I compare this place to a Denny's style type of meal.

We recently stopped for lunch on our way from Los Suenos in playa Herradura to Papagayo in Guanacaste. This restaurant is located in a strategic point since it is half way and good spot to rest for a while. It has a play ground Ideal if you are travelling with small children. Service is fast and food is good. Meats... More

Nice terrace to enjoy the famous spare ribs or a a delicious steak. The spare ribs are very different from European ribs offering by far more meat. It is like ham that cooked slowly over hours. Steak was outstanding. No need of side dishes. Global benchmark for clean restrooms! Very good impression was confirmed during a 2nd lunch a week... More

Stopped for breakfast on our way from the Liberia area to Drake Bay. Great service, super clean, even the bathroom was one of the best I've ever seen. Coffee was very rich, not bitter in the least and came with frothy milk. Plenty of locals there, which is always a great sign. Hearty breakfast for two, including coffee and juice... More

We took the south route from Hacienda Panilla to Arenal and came by this large BBQ restaurant on interchange to the pan American highway. We had the brisket and chicken and it was very good with exceptionally nice bathrooms.

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch yesterday on a trip back from Escazu. We had seen the many signs for Tres Hermonas dotting the highway, we were both hungry and thought we would give it a try. The servers were friendly and welcoming, we were seated and promptly served our beverages. My husband ordered the pork... More

This place is quite big for a Costa Rican restaurant.Nevertheless, it was clean and service was fast (we did arrive, though, after usual dinner time - we were there at about 9 pm). Food was great, with a generous selection of dishes. Restrooms were spacious and clean, way above what you can find in the country. Prices were average.
