Everything looks ok... I love Peruvian food and I expect it to be great. This wasn´t bad, but I was expecting more.

We ordered ceviche (indeed) and a paella for 2. The ceviche was okay, not as good as the one we had from a little restaurant along the road up to La Fortuna. And the paella was not like the one in Spain :( but the dish was good and plentiful for 2. Price was a bit expensive but we've noticed... More

The food was amazing. Especially being tired of casados and typical tico cuisine. Pervian Food will always be a favorite. The waiter told us the 10% service goes to the government. There was no reason to disbelieve. He lied! No more trust there. eat the food... its worthy of a little distrust.

We almost passed right by this tiny little place, and the guy there came out and gave us a sample of his ceviche to try. It was amazing! It was a perfect fish ceviche, and he also had a homemade hot sauce that he put literally about a half a drop on, and it was plenty spicy enough with that.... More

As we were walking in the town of La Fortuna, we came across Cevichera Mar y tierra. It caught our eye; it’s not a restaurant but a small eatery with just three stools. We had just eaten across the street at Viquez soda (which are many are familiar). Chef Benedictus offered us a sample of his sea bass ceviche, it... More

If you need a break from the traditonal Tica fare, but are craving good beef...here is your place. TBone about $17 and steak kabobs $14. Both came with green salad and potato. Very good. $2.50 for a beer, $6 glass of wine. A little on the pricier side but a nice place with pleasant dining area and efficient service. Very... More

Ceviche Del Rey is a very attractive open-air restuarant with Costa Rican and Peruvian cuisine. It looked so nice, I was reluctant to try it with two teenagers. Yet, after looking through the menu I changed my mind. Lots of diversity and reasonable prices. We weren't disappointed. The white sea bass ceviche was amazing, (I wanted to order another.) The... We dined here last evening & had the entire place to ourselves. Service was impeccable. One could argue that we had good service because we were the only customers but our server was attentive without hovering, suggesting the specialties of the menu. I had the fried sea bass with garlic sauce & it was TO DIE FOR. My companion chose... More
