We had all our breakfasts here while in La Fortuna. My son loved the pancakes. I loved the small tropical fruit bowl with granola and yogurt. The fruits were chopped in small cubes. The coffee is the best you'll ever have (cafe con leche). The cream is steamed in shapes like a leaf or heart, and then cafe or your... More

This is a little hard to find, off a side street, but worth it. I had a traditional breakfast of rice/beans, eggs, tortillas and cafe con leche. I ordered a second coffee - it was THAT good - and sat for a while at the quiet, lovely cafe and read my book. I would definitely go back and highly recommend... More

We ate at a number of different sodas throughout Costa Rica. Cafe Rain Forest was one of the places that seemed "just right" - the food and service were good for and the prices were just right. The atmosphere is casual. I wouldn't select this restaurant for a special occasion dinner out, but when you're looking for a tasty meal... More

Have eaten there several times on our trip because the food is wonderful, staff is superb and speaks English, and prices are great. The extensive drink menu of coffee choices will blow your mind!

I like to go to this place for a good coffee. The place is very nice, the service is great (the waiter seems to love his job and makes you feel important), the coffee is good, and the food is very good at a very reasonable price.

This place was recommended to us by a local. All types of coffee and presented in various ways in beautiful presentations. If you love coffee it's a must. It's in the heart of La Fortuna which is great for souvenir shopping. We also ordered the nachos which were tasty and filling.

We have eaten at the rainforest cafe three times since we got to La Fortuna a week ago, and we love it! The food is incredible and the staff is so kind (especially Jose)! They remember us everytine we come in. You should definitely try the chicken burrito and an order of guacamole. Great prices and even better atmosphere/staff.

I would say that compared to most restaurants around here, Rain Forest Cafe was pretty good. It was not amazing but I would go again and again. My group and I have been here for about a week and we have already eaten there twice. The Guac is good and all the typical plates are very good. While eating our... More

I had selected this restaurant for lunch based on Tripadvisor reviews. When we got there, I was surprised it was rated so high. It was average, at best, for lunch. And service was a little slow, but that may have been because there was a tour group seated before us. After re-reading some of the reviews we may have missed... More

Remembering the nice reviews of this restaurant, we dropped in for lunch while waiting for the rain to end. We were not disappointed. Even the pickiest of picky eaters was delighted with his brunch of French toast and an omelet. Rice and chicken and rice with shrimp, and the chicken tacos were enjoyed by all. And as other stated, the... More
