Highly overrated on Tripadvisor. Just because it's cheap doesn't make it worth it. Bother my friend and I weren't impressed with the meals. The nachos had some weird-tasting sauce on it even though we had specified we only wanted chicken and cheese on them. The chicken was not flavorful at all. The best part of the meal was the mango-flavored... More

It was actually the only Soda we ate at while in Costa Rica but I know it was a good choice. Great staff,& the food was very good. I had Ajo Shrimp. I always do. It was great. The staff was very nice and very friendly. Clean. We were there on a mid afternoon so it was not busy but... More

We ordered a vegetarian plate, a fruit salad and some drinks. All tasted fresh and well made, and came out quickly. It was very cost effective as well. Compared to the other sodas in town, this one seemed larger and cleaner, and more of a restaurant.

We happened to eat at this Restaurant in two places-- one in La Fortuna, and the other in Los Chiles. Both are very small places, but with very authentic Costa Rican food. The spiced rice with vegetables and beans was really delicious, and so were the barbecued meats and salad. We, however, filled up with the Plantain chips and bean... More

We stopped twice for lunch here and at both times we were satisfied. I highly recommend this place for that non-fancy but relatively good tasty restaurant.

Thanks to all the guys from Soda La Parada for all the great service that they offer to me every time I go there. If you are thinking to come to La Fortuna, you have to try their Churrasco, what basically is one of the cuts of meat that you could have!!! Try it. A beef guy is telling you... More

La Parada was my favorite spot to eat in La Fortuna. I never ordered off the menu for food, but just had the plates offered at the buffet line. For about $6.00, you got a plate heaping with beans and rice, a meat, and a salad. There was always a mouthwatering variety of chicken and pork available, I think I... More

We went here three times in our short visit to Arenal and we loved everything that we got. It is right in the middle of the town of La Fortuna and is open air which opens out to the heart of the town and the park. Everything that we ordered was really good and at a reasonable price. The first... More
