A must go. Getting up there is a little dicey without a 4-wheel drive car, but worth it when you get there. Organic as organic can get!

This is up a bumpy mountain across from volcano lodge, but is perfectly safe provided your taxi is trustworthy. The food is raised on its own farm\ organic food and wine. Restaurant is like a log cabin at the top of mountain with amazing views / you can see the springs resort all lit up from the restaurant. very classy... More

This steak house is literally a house located at the top of a long hill off the main road. The view is amazing and the restaurant is quaint, romantic, and welcoming. Just about everything is organic and the cows an chickens are raised right on the property. It is a great place for couples to have a romantic dinner. I... More

If you want a relaxed evening with excellent food and wine, this is it. This lovely restaurant was across the street from the Volcano Lodge, but we wouldn't recommend walking up the drive! It's quite the challenge! But so worth it.

Ok first off you are in Costa Rica not San Francisco. What not many of the other reviews are saying is that this restaurant is about a mile drive up a very very bumpy road. You almost feel like you are going to the wrong place . Then there you arrive at a large dark farmhouse. We would have preferred... More

Back in April, my boyfriend and I vacationed in Costa Rica. This restaurant was, BY FAR, our best dining experience in Costa Rica, and it was also the most beautiful restaurant we visited! Our dinners were amazing, and the service was exceptional--so much so that we returned for lunch the next day. I had a delicious avocado salad--the best I've... More

A sort drive to an off the beaten track organic farm. Amazing bread, hot chocolate and spring water. Tilapia and lamb were delicious. Great unexpected find with reasonable prices.

We ate here based on a friend's review back home. We were shocked when we turned into the restaurant entrance and said to ourselves, this better be good. Once we got into the restaurant we sat near the door leading to the outside so there was a nice breeze. We asked the waiter for some suggestions and one of the... More

It was a little scary riding up a gravel rode in the dark and arriving with no one else there. However, the service was spectacular and the food outstanding (great steaks). It was worth the trip. We went as a family, but it would make a nice romantic dinner.

The service was very slow here. the steak wasn't very good. I ordered a fillet and was given sirloin. A steak place should get the cut of beef right. a man was there who looked to be the manager or owner. He gave a lot of attention to one table and went around to other tables asking about the meal...
