We had the pleasure to enjoy a great Italian pasta and calzone with a glass of wine in Anch'io. The waitress was super friendly and from the start we felt very welcome. The portions are huge (and you receive a complementary salad and garlic breads). I definitely recommend it!

Pizza prepared in a real fireplace (brick kiln). Good taste!!Free appetizers, also nice free drink at the end. Limited choice of desert. No special coffee like cappuccino or espresso. So go for the main course and enjoy.

Off-season and nearly empty, but very nice waitress and delicious pizza, welcoming atmosphere on the edge of town. Received complimentary glass of limoncello and a 15% discount at the end of the meal (no idea why). A nice break from the rice and beans food.

The wood fired pizza brought us straight back to our Italy experiences and the pastas, all made in-house were... More

We were only in La Fortuna for four nights but came here twice. Fantastic stone baked pizza. Friendly, quick service and reasonable prices.

It might be weird to hear that the best pizza in the world is in Costa Rica, but one bite of the offerings from Anch'io, and you'll be a believer. The food is great, the ambiance is lovely and gracious, and the service is wonderful. Check them out! You'll be glad you did! I've eaten here twice now, and I... More

Great food (homemade pizza is excellent) and desserts. Really loved the food and open air (under roof) experience.
