If you like wood oven pizza and thin crust this is your place. Ingredients are fresh and the appetizers are wonderful. Price was a little high , but what isn't in Costa Rica during high season ? Remember to save room for dessert . If the pastry shop is open.

An average spot. Food was ok.. Chef needs to find the salt. The atmosphere was amazing tho. Well decorated. Also its quite expensive for the area.

I went there with a group of 15 and it wasn't going to be easy to please everyone. In the end, every single person in my group loved the food. The pizzas had delicious fresh ingredients and perfect thin crusts! Service by a young man named Andrey was great. He went out of his way to accomodate the large group... More

Amazing array of chocolates and cakes, I am sure anyone would be happy with the selection. I had the chocolate and marmalade cake that was excellent. We will be back for the croissants!

Authentic non-nonsense italian food. Very good pastas and homemade thin crust pizzas, etc. Good for families & large parties. Was recommended to us and did not disappoint. CC accepted. Maybe skip the tiramisu but otherwise enjoy!

We've been too this place twice now. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The pizza is really great and last night we also tried the pasta and we were not disappointed. I recommend a visit and I would recommend you try a pizza if you're not sure what to have!

The food was great here. We ordered a mista salad, a pizza and the gnocchi. The service was great too. We had been to a few places where service had been slow and were wondering if that was typical in CR. Not at Anch'lo! They easily accommodated several large parties while we were there so that is a nice feature... More

Our family of 6 went to Anch'io on our last night in Costa Rica and it was a huge disappointment. The atmosphere was pleasant with a nice Italian feel. The food was mediocre, but the service ruined the whole experience for us. We were the only people in the rstaurant and the waitress hardly paid any attention to us. She... More

We stopped to get some pizza on our way back to our hotel and we were not disappointed. My husband ordered the special (recommended by the waiter) and it was wonderful. I shared a cheese pizza with my son and even that was delicious. The staff was helpful in making suggestions and they were all so polite! Would definitely return... More
