Wow! It is so nice to find a place that meets all the criteria. The food was outstanding. Don't pass this place up because it is not fancy. You get a lot of great food for the price. The service was second to none. My wife wanted something that wasn't on their menu. So the server made arrangements to have... More

Brought my family here for a lunch, after being advised from a local tourist guide. As a local I would definitively recommend this place, the food is just great, they have a good variety of local dishes and their "casado" will give you a glimpse of how local food should be prepared (btw, I'm not related at all with the... We were tired of paying high prices for mediocre food, so we asked a local for advice. The local send us to Soda Viquez. Pleasantly surprised to see the trip advisors review of 4 1/2 stars upon arrival. Well, we thought it was a 6 star restaurant but we gave it 5 because the menus were not clean. The food... More

I had breakfast here on my own and service was friendly and food was even better, great portions. I ordered the Gallo with ham scrambled eggs. Also as i was really hungry from a long night the day before, I ordered a side of pancakes which came with fresh butter and maple syrup.

Wished we had found this soda sooner. A host from our hotel recommended us and we almost missed it because they were going to close at 9pm and we were heading out at 8:30pm. Thank goodness we arrived there before closing because this place isn't the place you want to miss! Their typical Casado food was amazing! We ordered Casado... More

We try this restaurant because it was highly recommended by our hotel. The waitress welcome us with a big smile. We ordered chicken casado which is I really enjoy and my bf had casado bisteka. The steak was tough that he didn't finish but he enjoy the rest of his plate. The rice pudding was really good. The price is... More

Wow, I wished we've found this Soda much sooner! This place definitely has the best "typical food". Their beef Casado was perfect in every way. If you're looking for the typical yums come check out their beef Casado. Don't forget to try their tamarindo and sursoap drinks.. Very delicious! Will come back tomorrow for breakfast before we head to Manuel... More

The food was not good at all. Dont know where all the good ratings coming from. Had the chicken with potatoes and my GF had the Casado. Both tasted terrible. But the stuff was friendly at least ;)

I cam here with my husband as this was one of the Soda's recommended. The staff was really nice. The food was really good and priced better than our hotel so we were very pleased.
