Been in Costa Rica for 2 days now and Soda Visquez has been my favorite spot so far. The food was amazing, great price, very very clean and the staff was top notch. Thank you so much! Ill be back tomorrow!

Varied. Lots of vegetables. Good taste. Cheap. Small dessert included. The place is full every evening.

Came here for dinner one night looking for authentic costa rican food and I am very glad we chose this restaurant! It is a very casual restaurant but it was perfect for what we wanted. They had a large menu to choose from and it was all very reasonably priced (cheap!). Service was slow so don't come here in a... More

Ceviche is nice, but many of the other items are pretty low-end (greasy). Definitely not a fave. The service however, was polite.

Good local food in a typical restaurant with no walls! We had grilled fish and chicken & rice dishes which were great and with drinks only $9 each so good value. Service was a little erratic but staff were lovely so could easily be forgiven.

The arroz con pollo was amazing as was the chicken posado. The cafe con leche was great and only 600 colones. We ordered two mains, a salad, a soup and two coffees and paid 25 dollars with a generous tip. Excellent food and great portion sizes. The staff was very attentive and suffered through my Spanish with a smile.

We can't say enough about Soda Viquez. The hotel staff at our hotel (Kokoro) suggested it and we ended up eating there at least once each day were we in La Fortuna. If you want to experience local food, this is the place!!!

Soda Viquez is a tiny little eatery in La Fortuna. They have a buffet of Costa Rican (Tico) food which you can choose from. It's kind of like a US mall food court type buffet though- so it's not all you can eat. The friendly woman behind the counter serves you a combo plate based on the foods you select. Everything... I wish I had found this little restaurant at the beginning of my La Fortuna visit. The prices are hands down the most reasonable while maintaining great tasting food and portion sizes. Staff very friendly and the meals taste home-made!
