This restaurant was recommended by someone at the Mountain Paradise Hotel. It was a great recommendation. We loved all the food and service.

The place was full of people, this is why we entered because there are not too manY tourists at this moment. Menu was very appealing but what we got for the money we paid was not worth it. The pasta was swimming in fat and the fish was overcooked... The place was so nousy that we almost couldn't hear each... More

We stopped here for a drink before planning to grab dinner elsewhere, but decided to look at the menu anyway and get an appetizer. We settled on the tuna tartar, which came out in three sesame cracker cones (like a tuna ice cream cone) with various toppings. They were good, but I could barely taste the tuna over the strong... Had slow cooked Pork Ribs here, very delicious in an unpretentious environment. Someone else ordered pancetta and it wasn't great. The namesake steak was okay, spicy tortilla soup was great if you can take the spice. Spicy really catches up with you with soup.

We visited Don Rufino, based on the rating in Trip Advisor. The service was excellent, everyone spoke very good english, but paying $55 for 1 soup, 1 main dish of chicken, 1 lasagnia, 1 bottle of water and 1 cup of tea (although beautifully and originally served ) - well, the food did not justify it!

Delicious food (I had the gazpacho) and refreshing drinks, good service, good price. I would go back anytime! Perfect place to grab a lunch.

Yes it is pricey, but it deserves a #1 rating in the area. Meal was scrumptious with large portions. I got surf and turf, but I would warn those used to cold water lobster that the ones from down this way are not as flavorful. Staff was great, the ambience was just OK as it sits on the main street,... More

Ate there two nights running as it was just a step out from the hotel-first night ordered grandmothers chicken and the next night the Szechuan chicken-both were great but just remember to bring your wallet
