Food was good however, a little pricey. Good if you are looking for an upscale dinner. Not so good if you are looking for a regular dinner/value for your money.

This is one of the best meals I have had in Costa Rica. Bypass the regular menu and ask for the Bocas menu to get more bang for your buck. The portions are certainly enough to share and the tapas style makes trying different items fun. We had the pork w/yuca, croquettes, shrimp and muscles and the chorizo and would...

This was one of our favorite meals while traveling in Costa Rica. Price was in line for this type of food and restaurant atmosphere. This was definitely a more upscale restaurant for Costa Rica and we are glad we made the trip into La Fortuna to eat here!
I felt like an idiot after receiving the check. It's a tank top and flip flop atmosphere with steak house prices. :(
This restaurant was recommended by someone at the Mountain Paradise Hotel. It was a great recommendation. We loved all the food and service.
The place was full of people, this is why we entered because there are not too manY tourists at this moment. Menu was very appealing but what we got for the money we paid was not worth it. The pasta was swimming in fat and the fish was overcooked... The place was so nousy that we almost couldn't hear each...

We stopped here for a drink before planning to grab dinner elsewhere, but decided to look at the menu anyway and get an appetizer. We settled on the tuna tartar, which came out in three sesame cracker cones (like a tuna ice cream cone) with various toppings. They were good, but I could barely taste the tuna over the strong...

Had slow cooked Pork Ribs here, very delicious in an unpretentious environment. Someone else ordered pancetta and it wasn't great. The namesake steak was okay, spicy tortilla soup was great if you can take the spice. Spicy really catches up with you with soup.
We visited Don Rufino, based on the rating in Trip Advisor. The service was excellent, everyone spoke very good english, but paying $55 for 1 soup, 1 main dish of chicken, 1 lasagnia, 1 bottle of water and 1 cup of tea (although beautifully and originally served ) - well, the food did not justify it!
We went for lunch and i had the lobster . Omg..!!! It was so good even the drinks were so good we couldnt stop eating..
