Our cuisine features a contemporary concept, influenced by the classic European cuisine, Asia and Latin America, from an eloquent and modern perspective. Our steaks are locally produced, with very high farming standards; and our seafood and fish dishes are amongst the preferred by our guests, for whom our menu also offers many vegetarian options, made with ingredients which, in most cases, are harvested in our own farm, pesticide-free.

Best meal we had in Costa Rica

Wonderful meal. Not expensive compared to resort prices. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend the grouper, Cajun pasta, risotto and the hamburger. Every meal we had was good. Came for lunch, would return for dinner if we could.

Comfortable open air restaurant with very friendly staff. We were able to choose from a variety of dishes (including local fare) and they had stuff for the kids as well. We had a very nice lunch there.

The casado here is great! We also had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. Very tender and juicy!

We are at Don Rufino's for dinner and found all of our dishes to be excellent. I had the risotto, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned! My family ordered the filet and the strip, which were amazing. Not only was our food amazing the service was outstanding.

Service is exceptionally fast for the area. Waitstaff is very attentive and friendly. A little pricey, but the service and food are substantially better than alternatives in the area.

This restaurant is more expensive than many in Arenal, but has great service, ambience, and drinks. We started with the ceviche and Tico Sours. They had the best Guara/Tico Sours we had, and the ceviche was my husband's favorite of all we had in Costa Rica.

During a daytrip to visit and explore the town of La Fortuna, my partner and I lunched at Don Rufino's. There were a number of dining options in town, but both of our Costa Rican tour-books had recommended Don Rufino's. So, despite some serious rain showers, we braved our way to its corner location. To be honest, from the street... More

Expensive, overreaching, mediocre. Need we say more? I cannot fathom how this place gets such good reviews given the meals we had. It must be due to weak competition in this tourist town near Arenal.

We stopped in here for lunch. Drinks were good. Food was excellent. A little overpriced - but still worth it.
