Highly Recommended Authentic Food

Our guide suggested this place - and it was awesome. Open air, fantastic food at a decent price, very nicely presented. Had the feel of authenticity and local flavors. A perfect p lace to unwind after strenuous adventures. I had the excellent ceviche, but the "volcano" meal was adorable (and... read more

Perfect if you want good local food! It was absolutely delicious, and decent prices. Took forever to get our beverages because of a table of about 50 college students, but that wasn't the restaurant's fault at all. Still very good!

Food was good and not too expensive. If you go you definitely should treat yourself to their banana split inside a pineapple.

Fun eating experience. Local foods, but a little catered toward tourists. Our bill got expensive, but got drinks, dinner, and dessert.

This restaurant had good food, not great, and they were clearly one of the "tourist" spots as their prices were twice as high as the restaurants that were not on the main strip. I'd recommend trying somewhere else like the Rainforest Cafe 1 block of the main street. :)

Aesthetically pleasing dishes, okay-good food. Not 'oh-my-god' amazing by any standards. Dishes are really expensive for what you are paying for. Why pay $16.00 for okay chicken when I can pay $10.00 for amazing seafood at a soda?

First and foremost, the food is overpriced. You will pay tourist-aimed prices. Second, the food was good and plenty. They also take Visa/Mastercard and such.

Outdoor eating under a large roof. The wait staff dressed in traditional garb and the menu was varied and the food was very good.

Great food, with friendly and efficient staff. We loved the ceviche. As with many restaurants in CR - we were disappointed in the steak - but Texas has spoiled us. Stick with the seafood or typical menu.

Referred to this restaurant by the front desk of the hotel. Service friendly and menu full of lots of choices for our group. I picked the fire roasted chicken and it was simple and GOOD! My goup all tasted the chicken and loved it too. Even though grip buses stop here, the drinks and food comes to you in a... More
