Loved the authentic Tico cuisine! Great value, good food and nice staff right in the center of La Fortuna.

This restaurant was recommended by a travel provider (Audley) and Shirley (local young lady). The food was great, a sensible price and excellent service.

Varied menu of local cuisine. Our choices were tasty, well prepared and good portion sizes. Service was fast and the waiter spoke good English. Our fruit smoothies were delicious. Very good value for 15 USD per person. Would return if in la fortuna again.

Delicious, authentic food. Friendly staff. Recommended to us by Marco at the Arenal Manoa Hotel. Wish we would've eaten there every day we were in the area.

This was one of the best meals we had on our trip to Costa Rica. The dishes are well prepared and authentic. Meat tasted very fresh and was well seasoned. The banana split inside the pineapple was delicious but could have used some more chocolate (there was none on the split itself, just drizzled on the plate)! Large portions for... More

We stopped at La Choza before checking in to our vacation home and the food, drinks, and service were great! The portions were large, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff was helpful and friendly, even giving us a small dessert on the house! The dessert might have been the best part, pineapple soaked in what seemed to be... More

Decent little open-air restaurant near western edge of Fortuna. Comparable prices, typical CR food. They ground coffee beans and brewed coffee at table-side which was nice. There was a little shop in corner where you can book tours, buy souvenir type items and cigars.

The restaurant looks a little rustic but I think it has the best steaks in La fortuna for a reasonable price

The rotisserie chicken is excellent. That said, the restaurant doubled its prices. The menu at my hotel lists the half-chicken at 4000 colones or $8, but the current price on the restaurant menu is 8000 colones or $15, which is what I was charged for a phone order, and for an on-site order the following day. Simply put--the prices are... More
