Got tired of hotel food. Looked this up, it was excellent. Friendly service, open air restaurant with fun life music. Great for groups and families. Mixed virgin drink was awesome, as were the ribs and chicken.

Okay, whatever the waiter recommends just say yes. The food here is crazy good. We ate the special which were ribs with plenty of side dishes included. The chef made a Piccadilla de papaya with that dish that I asked every restaurant to make and no one knew what it was. If the chef is reading this I beg you... More

we came for a late night dinner, it was very tasty- i had a cassado with cerdo and my husband had a burger. the portions were enormous, so a lot of our dinners went to waste as we just could not eat that much. their natural juices are fantastic, so full of flavour and sweetness

At our hotel they recommend this place for its meat, and they were right! Awesome mid term steak, the small dips were great. You have to try it.

We stopped here for lunch based on our concierge's recommendation and were not disappointed. Unfortunately they did not have their roasted chicken but the rubs were huge! and very tasty. It was a nice taste of local fare and one of the better meals we had in CR.

This place was clearly built with tour groups in mind, with their long tables and service style. Still, the food was tolerable and prices reasonable.

We shared a salad, steak, an order of patacones with guacamole, black beans and salsa & 2 mojitos and the bill was $54 with tip. The salad and patacones were superb. The steak, not so much. We enjoyed our dinner and the waiter was fun. We spoke to him with our limited Spanish and he spoke to us in Spanish... More

I had dinner here with my husband and his food was OK but mine was terrible. I ordered a tenderloin with a jalapeño sauce, medium well. I got a rare piece of meat on a puddle of blood with a brown sauce that resembled campbell's mushroom soup and some sliced jalapeños. It was simple inedible. Our server was so inept... More

We enjoyed our experience here. Good service and great chicken. They didn't have our reservation, but worked out a table for us anyway.

We enjoyed our lunch here. The food was good (my husband had the arroz volcan and I had the arroz con pollo). The service wasn't the greatest, and they forgot to bring my beverage and didn't ever get around to refilling our water. But the atmosphere was nice.
