Better than average Bar Food

Craving a really good burger we headed to MugShots . The menu options didn't disappoint , but I was surprised at how above and beyond they went from typical bar food . A host of decadent burgers and fries options , accompanied by some really yummy sounding salads . For our first visit we opted to... read more

This was my first, and definitely my last, visit to Mugshots. The burgers had been praised for the flavor and size by a member of our party. The food that came did not measure up to the hype. My hamburger was the Come Back Burger. The hamburger patty appeared to be a preformed variety. The meat was not hand patted... More

Used to love the burgers here. Not anymore. Now they taste like they use frozen preformed patties (Bubba Burgers come to mind) and other lesser quality ingredients, I feel like they did a bait and switch! The first few years that this location was opened this Mugshots served up pretty much the best burgers in town. They did quite well... More

While in Birmingham, my friend who lives there recommended that we go have a burger at Mugshots. They have very unusual burgers on their menu. I had the Will's All American Burger that included a fried egg and bacon in the mix. I didn't opt for the grape jelly option. They really play with flavors - knowing how to make... More

Great selection of hamburgers, sandwiches, and beer! Sport TV's for those that need entertainment. Outside dining if desired. LOVE the peanut butter hamburger, onion rings were super HOT OUT THE FRYER!. French fries were some of my favorites!

I arrived in the country on Monday afternoon and my friends took me straight out for dinner at mugshots. It lived up to all my American stereo types but I loved it! I had the all American burger and it was huge! The fries it came with were delicious and who would of thought that deep fried pickles would be... More

This is a nice sports-bar type place conveniently located off of Hwy 31 in Vestavia Hills. Adult beverages include local/domestic/imported beer (draft and bottled), wine, margaritas, martinis, mojitos, and specialty drinks. Lots of good appetizers such as dill pickle chips, pow pow shrimp, chicken strips/wings, queso dip, and quesadilla roles. If you can’t make your mind up, get the mombo... More

My family of four ate here in November 2014 on a Saturday during a game. An Alabama football game, that is. It suited us well, since two of the family members were obsessed with watching the game while eating. We had been in town since our son (one of the obsessed) had a chess tournament and this was a great... More

This place is horrible !! All of the burgers are shaped the same, which means they are frozen and formed . The texture is awful and the fact that they charge the prices they do make you believe it is a fresh hand patty like you make at home. This is one of the biggest jokes of a franchise going,... More

I came in on a Sunday for lunch and sat at the bar. The service was ok, but the patty melt was outstanding. The beef was perfectly cooked, there was a little bit of an unexpected spiciness (which was good), and the bun had a little bit of sweetness, almost like a biscuit. Very, very good. The onion rings, which... More
