DePalmas..my first date experience with a "nice restuarant"..yeah people I have been dining here for a while. I have eaten here numerous times..I will go back, but only for their Portobello mushroom ravioli or the gorgonzola filet. Everything else I have tried is 7/10 which is good, but not great. However, the top 2 listed entrees..insanely good. Three stars for... More

We had a great dinner. We are a large group, 8 of us they don't take reservations and won't seat you until the entire party is there but the wait wasn't too long. The dinner was fantastic. I had the carnivore lasagna and it was off the hook, I also had a Caesar salad and it was very good too.... More

Our group of 4 was road-tripping east on I-20 from an epic week in New Orleans and were hungry for a late lunch. Blessed with ample technology, one of our group checked his "Magic Box" Trip Advisor app for restos between Meridien and Tuscaloosa and found the #1-rated DePalma's in Tide Town. A quick detour from the sterility of Interstate... More

Second time to visit here and the food is always great. Service was quick and wait staff was friendly. I could eat here everyday.

Love the steak salad. The food is consistently good. It is the only restaurant we go to when craving Italian.

Not a huge fan of Italian, but they have a big menu. I can always find something new to try. Great service! They are usually busy in weekends, so get a reservation.

We came to T-town to visit our son and took him out to dinner at DePalma's. It is the neatest place! Love the look. It is loud in the middle as reviewers have said, but we were shown to a booth and weren't bothered by it at all. My husband got the fish special, and I swear I thought he... More

Went here on a Friday night, they don't take reservations and it was busy so we sat at the bar and ordered dinner. We had salad and two paste dishes, both really tasty. They had good wines by the glass also. It's located in the very charming historic downtown.

One of the best servers(Joey) we've had in some time. Pizza is fantastic as is the molten lava cake dessert. Atmosphere is interesting and location in downtown a little bit away from traffic of campus is refreshing.

Friendly efficiency in service; knowledge of menu and wine; excellent pasta dishes. And judging from how busy they were on a VERY cold January Monday, a LOT of locals agree with our assessment.
