I wasn't expecting the customer service to be as excellent as it was! Incredible staff, made me feel welcome and took care of everything for me!

My daughter brought us to this restaurant one weekend while we were visiting. This is her favorite place in Tuscaloosa and after eating there, I agree. My wife and daughter had the pasta with marinara sauce and I had a caesar salad and calzone. The food was fresh and very good. The homemade caesar dressing was fantastic!

On our way home from New Orleans, we were looking for a good meal, and found DePalmas listed, so we decided to try it.Whooo Nelly! This is a great place! I had an excellent Ceasar salad to begin, followed by filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Steak was perfect, thick, lean and cooked right-mashed potatoes were Italiano and excellent as... Good food, fun atmosphere, in a cool old downtown building. The pasta dishes are great. They always have unique daily specials, too. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy the evening. It is a little loud, so maybe not great for a large group. Hard to hear. Otherwise, great place!

We ate here on a quick visit through Tuscaloosa. I have to say that after reading about DePalma's on Trip Advisor, we were extremely disappointed. First, my salad was very good, but the positives stop there. We ordered pizza and it arrived dripping in grease. We had to ask for paper napkins to soak up some of the grease that... More

My husband and I have now christened this the place we go when we've had a bad day at work and want to drink a bottle of red wine, eat some really cheesy-delicious pasta, and relax. We've probably been to DePalma's eight or ten times when we've had crummy days at work, and we always walk out feeling way better... More

Depalma's has a fantastic Italian menu and is so reasonably priced. They prepare daily specials, always have oven fire baked pizzas and unbelievably good calzones. It is a must while in Tuscaloosa.

Our first visit and will not be our last! Seated quickly, waitress was very helpful, food delicious. Hubby enjoyed spicy chicken parmesan and I ordered a side of angel hair with Alfredo sauce & spinach. We both had salads. We plan to return and order pizza. I loved the history of the building, which I remember as Adrian's, a clothing... More

Recently returned to DePalma's after having not been there for quite awhile. The decor is, as always, fun with a bistro type of feel, lots of local tin signs, wood tables and chairs. Wait staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. And the food was wonderful and plentiful! We all had enough leftovers to make another meal to take home. The... More

Overall good place to eat. I love their salmon dish and their veal scaloppine. I was very disappointed 2 weeks ago I finally order their top menu item. It was angus beef can't remember what it was called but it was rare instead of med rare and was cold. I'm sure they would have taken it back but I'm always... More
