Housed in one of the oldest buildings in downtown Tuscaloosa and serves primarily Italian food, all of which is superb. They always have excellant specials which are a little pricey in relation to the regular menu but provide the opportunity to try something new. Walls are lined with wine bottles ordered with dinner and signed by the diners and eclectic... More

We ate here with our college student son after moving him in to his apartment. I had the Pasta DePalma with chicken and it was delicious. My husband had the Portabello stuffed Ravioli. Our son had the Veal and his girlfriend, the stuffed shells Florentine. The meals were all hot and well seasoned, more than ample servings but we ate... More

DePalmas has a special place in my heart and my stomach! The wait time has never been more than 25 minutes for us and we either grab a drink at the bar or sit on the benches outside if the weather is nice. It can get a little loud (my only complaint) but the food is to die for. My... More

The pizza was oh so good. It was huge and we ended up taking a few pieces back to our hotel and onto our plane the next day. Yummy. We also ordered a pasta dish which I thought was pretty ordinary but very substantial. Good beer and wine selection.

We have visited twice - most recently last night. Awesome architecturally engaging building on tree lined University Blvd in very quaint and charming "downtown" Tuscaloosa Be prepared to have to wait- just give them your name, be nice, order a beverage and settle in and enjoy your surroundings. Watch the people and peruse the delightful menu. Once you're seated the... More

DePalma's was recommended by a local who worked at the University of Alabama gift shop. All that was near was bars. It was only 1mile up the road. It was very nicely decorated and the food was excellent. There was six of us and we all enjoyed our meals. I recommend the cheese breadsticks as an appetizer. The cheese ravioli... More

A meal for four gentlemen of a certain age and stature - nobody was going to argue with us. The Don ordered first and we took his lead - good choice. The starters and main course were tasty and filling - no room for desert. The wine and scotch options finished it off nicely - good company - good food... More
