Too noisy...

I would enjoy eating at DePalma's more often, but it is too noisy and has been this way since it opened many years ago. Having a conversation over a meal is all but impossible because of the din of other conversations and the rattle of dishes. Dampening the racket is long overdue. I take guests to... read more

We have always enjoyed DePalmas. The food is consistently good and the staff friendly and knownalable. The bummer is everyone knows this now and the line of people waiting for a table is always long. Even on a week night. My only complaints are the long wait and the restaurant noise is very loud, making conversation difficult. Oh, if I... More

I have visited Tuscaloosa a few times in the last year and every experience includes a must visit to DePalmas. It is the BEST dining in Tuscaloosa and one of the finest restaurants I can recommend. The offerings vary from simple pasta and pizza to high quality steak and seafood. Food is always consistently great. I typically have the filet... More

The food here is really good and very reasonably priced. Great salads, appetizers, pastas, and special entrees. The atmosphere is good, although it can get a little loud. The only other drawback is sometimes the kitchen gets behind and you can wait a long time for your food, even when it's not necessarily that busy. But if you're with good... More

The staff is so friendly and helpful. I was greeted right away by a friendly face when I walked in. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, but not stuffy. The food is good. Some of the combinations are mouth watering like the appetizer of breaded pizza dough with Gorgonzola, nuts, and apples. I suspect the food is mostly made in... More

We stopped in for lunch on our first visit to Depalma's. We were seated immediately and our server right there to help us. My wife and I had pasta and it was excellent !! service was fastand friendly. And prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back and recommending Depalma's to our friends !!

I ordered the special, a pesto chicken lasagna. My husband & daughter had the filet. I definitely was out ordered. I usually don't order steak at a rest. B/c I'm usually disappointed. Not this steak. It melted in your mouth. So good. It was GREAT! Wow was it good. I would defiantly recommend to filet.

We dined here while visiting the university as it was highly recommended. It was good, but not great. My husband had the Pasta Depalma and it was a bit bland. I had the salmon which came with a side of spinach pasta and marinara. The Salmon was good, but the marinara was excellent. My son had a pasta with marinara,... More

I started eating at DePalma's in high school with family, and now have my husband hooked on it as well! It's our favorite, and literally everything on the menu is delicious. I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms and the Pasta Depalma. Always great service, clean, and cozy atmosphere. The wait sometimes is the only downfall, but the food is worth... More

Was a delightful experience, had lasagna with pepperoni and several cheeses which I cannot pronounce and the special carnivore pasta in a red cream sauce. Staff was very attentive.
