Food, fun, & friends!

Our regular dinner group has eaten here before, but last Friday may have been the best. First of all the restaurant has such a comfortable feel; the old world decor with a dash of Elvis & Marilyn thrown in, lively conversation, the kind of comfort you get with that old well-worn cotton shirt. I was in the city for a conference and decided to have dinner with a colleague. I was not disappointed. I had the sea food special that evening which included swordfish, scallops and shrimp over risotto. I was delicious! The service was great and the wait was fairly short for a Friday night. I would recommend without hesitation.

I've heard this restaurant talked up so much by people in Tuscaloosa, so I was really excited to go here for my friend's birthday! However, I was pretty disappointed. I ordered the Pasta DePalma because I heard it's one of the best dishes, but it was not flavorful at all. It was smothered in cheese to the point where I... More

Traveling through Tuscaloosa we were recommended DePalma's as a great option for dinner! This place is an obvious go to spot! After a short wait we were treated to a great dinner with excellent service. Want some good Italian? Head over to DePalma's and ask for Kevin, you won't be dissappointed!

If you are in Tuscaloosa this restaurant is a must! This was my first time to dine at this restaurant and when I'm back in Tuscaloosa I would definitely return. The restaurant appears to stay busy, but we were seated quickly, might take longer for larger parties. Service was quick and efficient. Food was fresh and hot.

I was traveling through town and decided to check this place out after seeing such great reviews. It far exceeded my expectations. The best calzone i have ever had and I washed it down with a Left Hand Nitro beer. Service was tremendous. I am so glad I decided to check it out!

This little restaurant is a popular stop with the locals. Good food, including Italian standards, the items of the day, steaks and pizzas. Wine available, no hard liquor. The help is wonderful, the ambiance is fun. Can be difficult to get into on football weekends.

Depalmas is a convenient place located in downtown Tuscaloosa. Parking is sometimes an issues, but today for lunch it was fine. The salads are fresh and green and the Gorgonzola dressing is awesome! I had stuffed shells and they were delicious. The portion size is large enough for leftovers. Be sure to give yourself time when you come, as everything... More

Greek salad and veal marsella were tasty with ample wine selection. My waiter Joe was efficient and I am glad he suggested DePalma's bread pudding. If you arrive after 6:30 pm expect to wait for a table. I was surprised that they do not accept Discover card.
