Good ambience, good food

I like this place, and my friends love it, but I just haven't flipped over it. I think the pizza is good but not phenomenal. They have a very good antipasta appetizer and a good wine selection. I wish they would take reservations... even if they hold a few tables for walk-ins. One reason I never... read more

Quick seating. Excellent food. Wife had the Primavera and added some large costly tasty shrimp. I went with the salmon and pasta which was excellent. All population had gone to a sports event and the timing was perfect. Ate quickly, then made it ourselves. Sweet little Holly was new to the job but did an excellent job and what she... More

DePalma's is a great restaurant with great food and atmosphere. AntiPasta has three cheeses and it large enough for 4-6 to share as a appetizer. The Shells with Marinara was large with three large stuffed shells. Their meat dishes were large and tasty. half salads are more than enough but they limit your choices on those. My only complaint is... More

Although it was an hour wait due to the A-Day game, it was worth it. I had the pork medallions, which was much more food than medallions would lead you to believe. My mom had the fettuccini with spinach pasta & my dad had the shrimp pasta special. We were all stuffed & very pleased!

Our regular dinner group has eaten here before, but last Friday may have been the best. First of all the restaurant has such a comfortable feel; the old world decor with a dash of Elvis & Marilyn thrown in, lively conversation, the kind of comfort you get with that old well-worn cotton shirt. Then you settle in with an antipasti... More

I was in the city for a conference and decided to have dinner with a colleague. I was not disappointed. I had the sea food special that evening which included swordfish, scallops and shrimp over risotto. I was delicious! The service was great and the wait was fairly short for a Friday night. I would recommend without hesitation.

I've heard this restaurant talked up so much by people in Tuscaloosa, so I was really excited to go here for my friend's birthday! However, I was pretty disappointed. I ordered the Pasta DePalma because I heard it's one of the best dishes, but it was not flavorful at all. It was smothered in cheese to the point where I... More

Traveling through Tuscaloosa we were recommended DePalma's as a great option for dinner! This place is an obvious go to spot! After a short wait we were treated to a great dinner with excellent service. Want some good Italian? Head over to DePalma's and ask for Kevin, you won't be dissappointed!

If you are in Tuscaloosa this restaurant is a must! This was my first time to dine at this restaurant and when I'm back in Tuscaloosa I would definitely return. The restaurant appears to stay busy, but we were seated quickly, might take longer for larger parties. Service was quick and efficient. Food was fresh and hot.

I was traveling through town and decided to check this place out after seeing such great reviews. It far exceeded my expectations. The best calzone i have ever had and I washed it down with a Left Hand Nitro beer. Service was tremendous. I am so glad I decided to check it out!
