This is a pretty decent Mexican restaurant. A number of my friends think it the best in town. They are willing to drive a fair distance past numerous other Tex-Mex places to eat there. It has never knocked me out that much, but it may you. The service is prompt, the atmosphere acceptable, and the food better than average. Give... More

Ok it looks sketchy and is attached to a thrift store, but do go inside! This is the best Mexican food in town and I am never disappointed. The queso is great and I always get the quesadilla torascos.

Camping and treated ourselves to dinner out. Was not disappointed. Had enchiladas, fajitas, tacos and buritto.

This place is a little hidden gem. It never fails to please. Servers are always "johnny on the spot." Food may not be fancy, but there is something to be said for doing the basics right.

The restaurant is large so even when there was a wait it wasn't very long. We had a seat at the bar and ordered a couple drinks before being seated. The server gave me the wrong type of beer, but quickly fixed it and apologized when I questioned why the modelo was so light. The portions were large and filling... More

We were in Tuscaloosa to visit friends. They took us to this place, which is their favorite. I can't say enough good about the service in this restaurant. Very friendly, helpful folks who made us feel very welcome and made our time there good. The food was good, but not great, much like other Mexican places I've tried in the... More

Just to praise this restaurant for simple yet excellent food and service. We got here by accident (saw it on route).Without mannerism, the waiter explained every dish we asked about. We got our huge plates every thing was tasteful (lots remained to take with us). We were indecisive about the desert and on top of the ones we ordered got... More

Being basicially the only sit down Mexican restaurant within walking distance from my motel, I decided to give it a try. It's located at the end of a run down strip mall. The interior was your average Mexican themed restaurant. Being a Friday it was crowded but I was able to get a booth right away. They had 32oz mugs... More
