One of the nicest places to dine and watch the sunset over the Black Warrior River. This one is a favorite of mine. The food is very fresh and service is always great. It's not the cheapest place to dine but it's usually worth the money.

We enjoy dining here when you can score a table by the window and enjoy the view of the river. The food is usually very good but is a bit pricey for such a casual environment. The setting is gorgeous though and perfect for taking a stroll along the river after dinner. We really enjoy sitting outside when the back... More

Cypress Inn is a nice local restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food is very good and consistent and reasonably priced for the type of food and restaurant. The riverside views and ambience are really great. It can get a little loud at times when really packed with large parties.

Great place to eat when in Tuscaloosa. Ask for a windo seat to enjoy the boats and barges going up and down the river. They have a great white BBQ sauce and the catfish is delicious.

I had chicken breast, squash, and sweet potatoes. Everything was perfect. The waiter was cheerful and attentive. We went at night and had a nice view of the River. This is a great place for a date. The decor was clean and it had the feel of a cabin.

Well well well, the Cypress Inn has a new owner. It's the old owner's ex-wife, if that tells you anything. I have come to the Cypress inn a couple times per year for about 15 years now. Drew Henson had always kept up a great staff and a great building as well as high-quality food for 30 years. And now... More

I ate at Cypress Inn today for lunch and the had the Country Fried Pork Loin. It was tremendous. The Vegetable of the day (grilled Zucchini) was very great as well.
