We dined here tonight (Sunday) and enjoyed the fish greatly. Vegetables and salads were also first class. The service was helpful without being obtrusive, and no delays in taking care of our table. As the crowd grew larger, the noise level increased to a bothersome point (we are sensitive to ambient noise). We would go here again, but perhaps on... More

This is where we like to bring guests or go for a special event. We've had a tough time getting reservations at popular times but have always been able to get in. We love being able to go down to the water and take pictures and enjoy the scenery before dinner.

One of the area's best dining experiences, known for its excellent seafood -- and steaks too -- in a river-view ambience.

The setting on the river is beautiful. Our server was kind and genuinely cared about our enjoyment during our visit. The food was wonderful.

Our freinds from Tuscaloosa took us here for dinner. It was a very lovely place, right on the river. It wasn't warm enough yet to eat outside but the very from inside was still enjoyable. It was a Monday night and not busy but for some reason our meal took quite some time and our waiter apologized several times for... More

My husband & I were in Tuscaloosa for the A-Day Game on our anniversary weekend, so I made reservations for 7:30. We were about 30 minutes early and they were busy, but they seated us right away. Our server was Angela and she did a good job taking care of us. I enjoyed my half-carafe of merlot and my hubby... More

Cypress Inn is always delicious. Wherever we have out-of-town company that's where they want to go. Their salad dressing are worth the trip!

You would think from reading the good reviews that this would be a great place to eat in Tuscaloosa. So we decided to go for dinner to the Cypress Inn. When we arrived we received a much less than friendly greeting by the hostess. She acted like we were intruding. We requested to sit by the window and again the... More

Recently we went back to Cypress Inn after several years of not being in the area. It was even better than 3 or 4 years ago. The same great items were on the menu but there were new additions that really enhanced the assortment. I had been limited previously, since for health purposes I don't eat cheese. There were so...
