The Cypress Inn is consistently good. The prices are what I consider medium as far as nice restaurants go. The view is lovely looking out at the river. I prefer to sit in the bar area. We eat here 3 to 4 times per month. Good appetizers, entrees, salads and deserts. You just can't go wrong since the have something... More

We went to celebrate my 60th birthday on Sundaym Aug 24th after church. We were seated in the bar area and it was warm..then it got hotter and was told the air was out! We were miserable and finally got moved...having to move our plates and everything into the main part of the restaurant. I have never experienced a problem... More

The food is absolutely delicious. I love the fried catfish and loaded mashed potatoes, and the Mississippi mud cake is good as well. We went on a busy Sunday and waited a little while but it was very worth it. Our server, Bill, was very attentive and great. While we were waiting, we saw these customers BERATING the poor hostesses... More

We travel through Tuscaloosa about once a year and enjoy stopping at the Cypress Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful to our family. We love the homemade rolls to start the meal. The various entrees and vegetables are flavorful. We usually have the prime rib, catfish, smoked chicken, fried shrimp. We usually split a couple desserts since the meal... More

Cypress Inn has always had a great location on the river. In the past the menu has been a little convoluted, but this visit it was great. I definatly recommend trying it out.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Tuscaloosa. They have the best smoked chicken with white sauce. I have never been disappointed with anything. If you like bread pudding, you will not be disappointed with theirs. The view is also very relaxing.

I believe that Cypress Inn is the best restaurant in Tuscaloosa. The menu, food, service, and atmosphere are all outstanding. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive.

We took at 13 year old twin grand daughters here for a nice dinner and family time. The meal was great, service was great and everyone had a great time.

Over the years, I've been to Cypress Inn many times. And, I've never been disappointed with any aspect of the establishment. The view (overlooking the Black Warrior River)is relaxing, the food (be it steak, seafood, or a chicken dish) is always wonderful. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, start to finish. One of the little delights there, is the... More
