Very good

Food and wine was very good. Excellent waiter and didn't have to wait long in the meal considering it was very busy that night. Highly recommend you make reservations as it gets very crowded. Beautiful setting but parking can fill up fast.

Good customer service and food. I've regularly eat here for 15+ years, so if anyone know then it should be me. I never had a complaint against this establishment in any regards.

I took my family to Cyprus inn for lunch. We ate outside on the patio by the river. The atmosphere was very relaxing and we enjoyed watching the barges on the river. I had the chicken with white barbecue sauce and cheese grits. The sauce for the chicken was awesome and the grits were some of the best I have... More

Cyprus Inn has been our "go to" restaurant for celebrations for many years. It has been about a year since our family has been there and our recent visit was certainly a disappointment. Walking to our table I noticed how worn and dirty the carpet is, particularly scummy by the doorway into the kitchen even our 10 year old granddaughter... More

Our motel clerk recommended Cypress Inn and we were very pleased. The setting along the river is calm and pleasant. We shared the fried green tomatoes and they were light and tasty. My catfish was dusted in corn meal and pan fried to just the right temperature. The greens and gumbo were perfect. Definitely earned a return visit.

We were in Tuscaloosa for a night because I had a doctor's appointment the next day. A friend of ours recommended this place. It was beautiful! Enough though we were there rather late. We could see the river and the lights from the university. The food was very delicious and the service was great!!!

The place is busy and does not open until 5 PM on Sundays. Reservations are probably in order but you can also sit in the bar area. It sits on the river and has a nice view. Staff is very good. Most of the food is typical of Southern fare. It is well prepared and tasty. It was a nice... More

We have been hearing about this restaurant for years and made reservations for graduation dinner. The location is great and the restaurant itself is nice, but the food wasn't all that great and over-priced. We ordered the crab claws and fried pickles for appetizers. Neither were anything to write home about. Our party of 6 each ordered a different entree,... More

On May 2, 2015, we celebrated my nephews graduation from Law School at the University of Alabama. We had such a wonderful celebration dinner at the Cypress Inn. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits. Grits have Gouda cheese and they are wonderful. They also prepared a burger for my son and it was not even on the menu. They went... More

We ate here last night after graduation, and the food and wait staff were amazing! We really enjoyed the location as well.
