We've had the pleasure of pigging out at the Broken Egg Cafe twice in the past few months. Consistently excellent service and put a smile on your face delish food!! You may have to wait- it's worth it. Conjure up that Southern patience and go check out the views of the lovely and lazy Black Warrior River (and yes there's... More

Great view of the Black Warrior River. Enjoy a cup of morning joe while relaxing with a peaceful vista. Quiet enough for conversation. Tables spaced far apart for privacy. Service great, also. Only thing that is less than the best: the food! Very mediocre.

Ate there yesterday morning while trying to find a restaurant we didn't have at home. Beautiful interior and views, amazing service, and great food. We will definitely be going back any time we're in Tuscaloosa! They also sell the most adorable mugs/vases/crocks!

Let me start by saying my wife loves Eggs Benedict. She knew she was in for a treat when there were many different types to choose from on the menu. The ham alone on the dish was enough for a meal. She said it was probably the best Eggs Benedict she's had anywhere and that is high praise considering she... More

We went because we had received a coupon for free beignets, but boy were we shocked! The food was absolutely amazing!!! This is quiet possibly the best restaurant in Tuscaloosa and I highly recommend you visit them.

We were looking for a different type of experience for breakfast, and we found it here. It has a very nice , and knowledgeable staff, the atmosphere was wonderful, with beautiful views of the Black Warrior River. The food was so fresh and cooked to perfection. We assume the price reflects the ambiance and the location. We will return !!

The food here was awesome and the view on the river was beautiful! I went both mornings of my trip! Bacon and potatoes were out of this world good! Staff was very friendly!

We were in town for an event and decided to try "Another Broken Egg". This location appeared new and it filled up for breakfast pretty quickly. It was hard for us to decide what we wanted because the menu offered so many appetizing choices and it's not just the typical bacon and eggs breakfast. Service was good and the atmosphere... More

Seven of us enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning. Beautiful location. Farmer's market next door and River Walk makes for a great morning.

We have visited Tuscaloosa three times and three times we have tried to eat here for breakfast on Sunday, but the wait was always too long. This time we got up early and this was our first stop. Arrived at 9:00, a 15 minute wait....more like 20 but that was fine. We were seated (there were three of us), given... More
