We knew the prices were going to be high, the place would be crowded, and the wait would be long. However, it was worth it. The Ribeye was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly as requested. The shrimp was as fresh and plump as one would get at the gulf (and we suspect someone brings these shrimp to them from the... More

We had an amazing jazz brunch Sunday! Even though there were only 5 choices on the menu, it was very tough to choose because everything looked amazing! I chose the crab cakes hollandaise, which were a little heavy but really good. My husband had the shrimp and grits, which were so good I wanted to eat them until I made... More

There are 5 items on the menu, hence the name "Five". The quality is outstanding. It's worth waiting for. The prices are a little high. $5 for fresh squeezed orange juice; $3 for mimosa on Sundays. Jazz band was perfect.

We have eaten at Five a number of times and have always enjoyed the food, but for some reason they play loud background music and the noise level is so high that its hard to talk to the people you are with so its best to sit outside if the weather is OK.

My daughter and I both agree that this one of the nicer restaurants that also has really good food. Had the Chicken and was very good. For 5 of us with a a few drinks was about $130 w/ tip so I felt that was reasonable.

While in Tuscaloosa for one night in early June on a road trip, my friend and I heard about a gastropub called Five. It is located in the cute little downtown area of Tuscaloosa--which is very pedestrian friendly. We ordered dinner, having the Fried Chicken special with homemade mac-n-cheese. I had a local craft beer and my friend had a... More

Went here based on a recommendation and was not disappointed with my choice. I got the special for the day which was fried chicken with Mac and cheese. Their salad is AWESOME! White Balsamic dressing strawberries pecans blackberries and goat cheese. Would definitely go back again!

One of the better choices in a college town. Menu has some fixed items, some rotate. Fresh, hot and ample portions. Generally a zoo since it is in downtown and is one of the nicer restaurants. Outside seating available. Full bar. Good date place.

This establishment has some really good food, but the hamburger is the best in T Town. I would highly recommend Five Restaurant for anyone looking for great food in Tuscaloosa.
