Stopped in for lunch in downtown Tuscaloosa during a shopping spree. Service was adequate on a busy graduation day. Ordered the stuffed mozzarella balls and chicken. Food was ok for the price. Five bar is named aptly for five selections in all menu categories. From appetizers to bar selections. A nice change and the atmosphere is upscale. Fun excursion.

This place gets super busy on game day weekends, but it is worth the wait. The food concept is small plates and so we just ordered a bunch of dishes. Everything was wonderful.

My wife and I went here to have drinks the night before the Alabama vs Miss State game. Great ambiance, healthy crowd, and friendly bartenders. For whatever it's worth, we ran into Kirk Herbstreit there. He must have been checking out the Tuscaloosa night life scene before GameDay the following morning. Will definitely be back.

We went and there are absolutely no complaints. I had the burger and it really was flawless. Everyone else got something different and no one had anything negative to say either. The olive cheese appetizer was very tasty as well. $15 isn't bad for a good burger, fries, and a salad with goat cheese. I also left stuffed. Will return.

This is a quaint place in downtown Tuscaloosa that offers a unique experience. It is definitely not ordinary or run of the mill. One thing to notice is that the name here is deceptive. It is more a restaurant and then a bar. But it certainly has both. And like the name, it serves five items on the menu. It... More

I went here once last year, and while it was pretty good, I wasn't wowed. This time, we stopped in with my wife and daughter on a somewhat slow weekday afternoon, and it was terrific. Portions were great, everything we had was tasty. I had the cheeseburger, which very nice. The Uptown Chicken was a great appetizer. Love the atmosphere... More

First visit. Nice atmosphere and vibe. Service was ok. Food and drinks were ok. Nothing outstanding. Happy Hour starts around 4:00 pm and ends at 6 pm. The kitchen does not open until 5 pm so you can not order food until then.

The food here is good quality, and tasted good, but isn't very exciting (dishes you could get anywhere). Not The drinks are great. The menu is limited, so it is easy to pick. We also had great service when we came.

We love the food, basic but good. The DIY bloody mary bar is great. The only downside is be prepared to wait!! The staff is friendly and the service very good considering the crowds.

I always visit Five when in town to visit my daughter. Sunday evening was my only unpleasant experience at a terrific restaurant. There were many open tables, yet our party of 8 had to wait an hour to be seated. It's my hope they work on proper staffing, as the rest of the restaurant is great fun and good food.... More
