Cool Place in Tuscaloosa with great drink and food!

My wife and I visited Five on a recent trip to Tuscaloosa. We went in for drinks and appetizers. Walking into this place we realized it was unique. The decor is very unusual, but really eclectic and fun. It has a fairly large bar along the wall which we would have sat at but it was full. We ordered... read more

This is my all time favorite place to eat in Tuscaloosa. The atmosphere is perfect although sometimes on the loud side. The good is excellent. They may only have 5 things on the menu, but they make sure to make them right!

Great atmosphere. The mature college kids love it. Neat menu and good flavored food. Not good for young children. Great for couples going out with friends or friend groups.

Been to Five in Birmingham and loved it. The atmosphere in this one is not nearly as cozy and comfortable. Service was ok, wait for brunch was horrendous. Food was ok but not what I was expecting after having been to the Birmingham location.

This was a great night out for dinner. They also sponsor an amazing non profit called american lunch where the give away soup to people out of a food truck three times a week. Amazingly generous and creative!

This place is downtown, parking can be a problem. We went on a Thursday night and the place was packed. It is pretty close to campus and, because of that, it was full of students and local adults alike. Once you get past the crowd, the noise and settle into your experience; it is a very enjoyable place to have... More

With 5 appetizers, 5 main courses, 5 cocktails, you would think the menu would be limited. Actually it is quite diverse. We had the olive cheese bites, gulf catch, rib eye & cheeseburger. Everyone was pleased with their choice. No desert but they do offer complimentary cookies. Yummy!

The menu is limited to 5 items for cocktails, appetizers, main course. You get the idea. Having said that, the menu covers most appetites. We had the olive cheese bites appetizer, followed by rib eye, fresh catch of the day & cheeseburger main course. No desert so they offer complimentary cookies. It was very good. Fun atmosphere.

Five choices of appetizers, entrees, white wine, etc. and these choices vary at an unknown frequency which is a unique idea. There are also some weekend specials. All entrees were enjoyed by our party. Would dine here again. Parking lot across from restaurant is convenient.

We had a late lunch with our almost 5 year old. My panned chicken was Devine atop fresh made mashed potatoes. My daughter had a kids cheeseburger and It was very good (I stole a bite). Husband had cheeseburger the way they make it and he found it salty - I think it was because of the bacon relish they... More
