Disappointed in the direction Tin Top of Tuscaloosa has taken. You had such a good thing going. Is Tin Top wanting to become another Sports Bar?

We stopped in on a Sunday for brunch and it was pleasantly surprising. The food was great and the lunch menu offers lots of value. I have visited additional 2 extra ties to see if it was just a one time special or weekly deal. Everything was the same great food at an affordable price with a pleasant and friendly... More

Honestly I enjoy most restaurants I go to but this place had the worst service! We waited an hour and a half for our table and then another two hours for our food. When the food arrived it was cold and undercooked. Overall I would not recommend anyone eat here.

Love the new location. Twice the size of their last property. Called and made a reservation a week before our meal and was seated when we arrived upstairs. Our ears were ringing when we left after our meal but the service was wonderful. Crab claw appetizer is a must. The fried oyster were delicious along with the Tuna steak and... More

Family of four went here on a slow Saturday night. There were many empty tables and bar was mostly empty also. In my opinion the food is overpriced for what you get. No one in our group finished all of their food and no one wanted a go box. We had shrimp and grits, oyster plate, shrimp with pasta, and... More

Thursday afternoon 6:30, I ordered ahi tuna and spouse ordered fried shrimp. Shrimp was ok, the tuna was refrigerator cold and Vince Hunter (manager, assistant manager?) argued we did not know how to order tuna. James our waiter gave good service.

The lobster bisque is so delicious, my husband had a bite of mine and said he would order that next time he came.. The side Caesar salad was awesome and fresh! And the chocolate bread pudding was sooo good! Our waiter Josh was great and very helpful with my decision making.. I told him I had never been there before... More

We were a group of six who showed up without reservations. Our group ordered the Shrimp and Grits, the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and the Surf and Turf. Everything was delicious. And the server - Andrew - was wonderful. Will definitely recommend.

The food at Tintop is terrific! The restaurant is now located in downtown Tuscaloosa at 2330 4th Street. The food is incredible...the freshest of seafood and steaks. My personal favorite is an appetizer of seafood stuffed mushrooms. The stuffing is delectable...and can be added to any entree on the menu as well. One more tip...ask for a table upstairs...where it's... More
