Thursday afternoon 6:30, I ordered ahi tuna and spouse ordered fried shrimp. Shrimp was ok, the tuna was refrigerator cold and Vince Hunter (manager, assistant manager?) argued we did not know how to order tuna. James our waiter gave good service.

The lobster bisque is so delicious, my husband had a bite of mine and said he would order that next time he came.. The side Caesar salad was awesome and fresh! We were a group of six who showed up without reservations. Our group ordered the Shrimp and Grits, the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and the Surf and Turf. Everything was delicious. And the server - Andrew - was wonderful. Will definitely recommend.

The food at Tintop is terrific! The restaurant is now located in downtown Tuscaloosa at 2330 4th Street. The food is incredible...the freshest of seafood and steaks. My personal favorite is an appetizer of seafood stuffed mushrooms. The stuffing is delectable...and can be added to any entree on the menu as well. Disappointed in slow service. Arrived at 1 p.m. and waited 40 minutes for a lunch plate. Only 5 other tables occupied in restaurant. ???????? Will think twice about coming again. Go to Tin Top in Bon Secour often. Service there us great. People seated after me now have food. Still waiting.

We have been here twice. Both visits were disappointing. This visit my wife and I both ordered fish. Mine was way over cooked and dry. And the piece I got must have weighed all of 3 or 4 ounces. For $20 bucks, I expect more than I got. My wife's was the wrong fish entirely! Rather than hold our party... More

I really enjoyed my dinner. The service was very good and so was the food. There were about 10 of us and we started with the crab claws, fried and broiled, both great. I had the fried oysters and they were awesome. Lightly breaded and perfect. I'll be back

The fried oysters were good but it's quite bewildering why a well-touted restaurant would buy pre-battered frozen okra and, to our utter dismay, put sugar in collard greens.
