The fried green tomatoes , and the fresh green beans where delicious. Please do try the bread pudding , any favorite. My Aunt had the Steak it was juicy.. The side salad was delicious the serving size is great. The only bad thing I would say that I got 2 fried tomates, maybe 3 or 4 slices because they were... More

We were a group of six who showed up without reservations. Our group ordered the Shrimp and Grits, the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and the Surf and Turf. Everything was delicious. And the server - Andrew - was wonderful. Will definitely recommend.

The food at Tintop is terrific! The restaurant is now located in downtown Tuscaloosa at 2330 4th Street. The food is incredible...the freshest of seafood and steaks. My personal favorite is an appetizer of seafood stuffed mushrooms. The stuffing is delectable...and can be added to any entree on the menu as well. One more tip...ask for a table upstairs...where it's... More

Disappointed in slow service. Arrived at 1 p.m. and waited 40 minutes for a lunch plate. Only 5 other tables occupied in restaurant. ???????? Will think twice about coming again. Go to Tin Top in Bon Secour often. Service there us great. People seated after me now have food. Still waiting.

We have been here twice. Both visits were disappointing. This visit my wife and I both ordered fish. Mine was way over cooked and dry. And the piece I got must have weighed all of 3 or 4 ounces. For $20 bucks, I expect more than I got. My wife's was the wrong fish entirely! Rather than hold our party... More

I really enjoyed my dinner. The service was very good and so was the food. There were about 10 of us and we started with the crab claws, fried and broiled, both great. I had the fried oysters and they were awesome. Lightly breaded and perfect. I'll be back

My table of 4 had; Broiled Tin Top Platter (the shrimp was the best thing on it, the crab cake was pretty terrible, Tuna Dip (unique flavor, must try), Strip (med rare, cooked correctly), Peel and Eat Shrimp (some of the best I've ever had), Raw Oysters (exactly what you'd expect from never frozen), Tin Top Oysters (Superb! the ham... The fried oysters were good but it's quite bewildering why a well-touted restaurant would buy pre-battered frozen okra and, to our utter dismay, put sugar in collard greens. Have we reached a new low with our sugar addiction? The Bloody Mary and side salad (though they should spare the grated cheese on top of the iceberg lettuce) were the best... More

Total lackluster meal at the 'ole Tin Top. Had reservations for 7:45 pm. Hostess clearly forgot to seat us, so i gave her a gentle reminder. No problem! But things never improved after that. Ordered two fillets which were fine but overpriced for my discriminating pallet. I rarely order a steak, and when I do, I expect it to be... More

I went here for my birthday dinner with about 8 of my friends. We ordered and it was about an hour and a half before we got our food, some of ours was cold too. I had the pecan encrusted grouper, sounds pretty good right? I took my first bite into and all I could taste was this awful salty/... More
