It's nice to have a place like this in my hometown. The food is excellent and the service is friendly. This cute little place is exceptionally clean. The wine was great too!

Excellent place for an excellent meal. Don't be in a hurry, you will be there awhile but you will use that time enjoying an excellently prepared meal. Probably one of the best meals I've ever had in any restaurant. Save up though, it's pricey but worth it. We went because of a groupon discount, because of the experience, we will... More

We chose this place as we were passing through and found the ambiance likeable and the food superb. Bread pudding is a must

Food was okay. Service okay...did not refill tea glass. I have been in the past and had better experience so possibly just an off night for them.

Took my wife for Valentines and was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, as was the food. The staff was friendly and attentive. A wonderful feel to the place and even though it was completely booked it still had a great atmosphere for a couple. My wife had the snapper and I had the tenderloin, both where cooked perfectly and... More

Went to Buttermilk Russia for Valentines Day with my wife. It was a set menu and reservations required. The restaurant is in an old house that has been converted into a cozy place for quiet conversations and good food. The service was friendly and the food was well done. I had the lamb and my wife had the snapper and... More

This restaurant is AMAZING! They have wonderful food, and wonderful service. They use fresh ingredients and have a well-trained chef that prepares the meals. Each time I have been here I have thoroughly enjoyed their menu options. They are a little pricey, but well worth the money! Everyone is super friendly! I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

This is dining experience is a converted southern home with all the trimmings including a porch. The menu is reflective of an eclectic desire to bring a different view of food into an otherwise singular venue. With beer cheese soup, white table cloth coverings, and a formal approach, the menu itself takes on a different vision as to what meat,... More

I went to Buttermilk Hill for lunch with my sister and dad as a treat to them because they don't normally eat at nice and unique places like this -- I thought it would be a treat. The house itself was neat and interesting, with the piano in the front, the wrap-around porch and just the overall southern charm it... More

I have to admit, the only reason we chose to eat here was I had purchased a Living Social (1/2 off) coupon. I bet restaurants hate to see those coming (and hope we forget to redeem). We got there at opening and the chef let us in. He (Matthew) was a delight! His love for cooking shine through in our... More
