Delicious Gumbo and Crab cakes! Staff kind and polite. All the perfect conditions to have a very good dinner. You have to go at Ed's!

Ed's is my favorite seafood restaurant on the causeway. In no way fancy, it has a very rustic type décor but the food is always excellent and the service is always good. I love the coleslaw and their fried shrimp. You never leave there hungry and their prices are great compared to some of the other restaurants in the area.

Ed's parking lot is crowded no matter what time of day we go. The reason? This is good old fashioned Family dining that is always in style. We chose outside seating, and though the evening was a bit windy and cool, the wind screens kept us cozy during our meal. The Seafood choices are many and from our experience, very... More

I ate lunch here with a business associate. I've lived in the area for 5 years before this, which was my first meal at Ed's. My loss ... I wish I had come sooner. Ed's started us out with a bowl of tasty cole slaw - an Ed's staple. I enjoyed it. I had the fried oyster lunch plate with... More

Good family atmosphere with good food. Crab cake sandwich, white fish, and gumbo were all good. Definitely would return!

The food was good, but I chose to upgrade my rating to very good because of the location, location, location, and the exceptional service. We had an exceptionally friendly and competent waitress that made us feel right at home. We chose to sit outside and the view of the bay at night with the lights is perfect. My children were... More

Fresh seafood, very good service -even with a group, good prices. casual and comfortable. Only issue may be if you have trouble with a steep ramp or steps although they have both. well worth the trip

We asked for a window seat and the hostess looked at us like were crazy......didn't get it so sat in the middle of a dark room. The food was OK.....nothing special. The servers were ok.

Don't get me wrong, Ed's is a good restaurant. I don't think it is great, just good, because I have been to other seafood restaurants close-by that I believe are better values. The service at Ed's was outstanding with a very cheerful and accommodating waitress. Stale crackers on the table were quickly replaced with fresh, the food was served promptly... More
